Wow. I'm not sure why this thread is entertaining me but it kind of is.

Not naming names... but sometimes I don't like sharing a planet with some people.

I love it. Keeps the place interesting.

People read and believe what they want to.

See, there's your problem. You posted the complete contradictions right here in one thread. You usually spread out your misinformation and make it harder to track. You messed up and made it too easy, and now anyone who ever sees this thread will always know you're a troll. Thanks for outing yourself. Looks like it's time for a new username. Might I recommend Surgeon General?

I'm confused on some reports saying the nerve was elongated but others saying it needs to regrow.

IIRC, The only time a nerve needs to regrow is if it is severed, it'll follow the path of the dead half as it degenerates down to the neuromuscular site.

If its elongated doesn't that usually means damage to the myelin or worst case, the membrane itself. The myelin will repair over time but there's no "length growth" just layering around the nerve.

Not being harassed for having an opinion tends to just do that, Sporto. Do you really think I was saying the injury made me happy?

I know you are trolling , but you are not expressing your opinion. You are speaking in absolutes. You are clearly wrong, which makes it that much worse. Here is some advice, if you are going to troll, find a better topic and don't be so obvious. I am much better at it than you, so you should listen if you want to become a pro .

Actually you can fix stupid. It's called getting an education. We are both here reading and writing so you don't really have a point. You just seem to want to be argumentative for the argument. Insulting because you can't tolerate the possibility that I'm right. Not a mature way of going about your business but... whatever.

not this kind of stupid...LOL

Yes, that does mean there is damage. I explain in an earlier post that there is no doctor in the world that can know how this will turn out. All they can do is compare it to similar injuries.

The doctor actually said it was not elongated.

No, I'm not. You're just too stubborn to admit you're just shooting the messenger.

Dr. Cooper soon after surgery which was performed on 1/5: The nerve damage was not severe. The exterior of the nerve is intact and it was not elongated. It's 6 inches of nerve that needs to regrow and it regrows at about an inch a month.

Jaylon Smith in March: I am having new sensations in the leg every day.

DC.com in April: It will be 6 months for the nerve to heal.

mrtxstar: The nerve will not heal this year. Book it. It's the truth and you are persecuting me for not buying it.

Apparently the doctor told Stephen Jones that it grows 1 - 1 1/2 inches a month.
