Totally opposite meaning great compared to last year.

OHHHHH lol....right. No it is. Its really impressive especially with a rookie QB. You fix this defensive line....yikes. Lawrence is on his way. Let's hope he makes that next step into his career.

i just hope this group matures fast enough to get romo and witten a chip in the next 1-3 years. starters or not.

2 pros that are all class that worked for everything they've gotten.

This is a really weird one, but I keep bringing it up in the game chat that we've got to lead the league in 2nd and 1's. We do, in fact, and all of those plays have been runs (15 of them). All other teams have averaged just 3, and no other team has more than 8 so far.

With all those 1st-down plays that come up 1 yard short, we rank 26th in conversion percentage on 1st and 10, but we lead the NFL in conversions on 2nd down, and rank 2nd behind the Jets on 3rd down. We rank 2nd behind the Falcons in conversions on any down -- 49 by the pass, and 45 by the run.

Play selection: 1st-down runs
(as a percentage of total 1st-down plays)
Raiders 63.0%
49ers 60.8%
Vikings 60.2%
Cowboys 57.1%
Texans 56.9%

Dak is carrying this .500 coaching staff. Dude is playing like a freaking stud vet right now. No Dez? No problem. No Tyron Smith? Who cares.
Sketchy defense? Doesn't matter with these long sustainting drives that end in points most of the time.

dude seems to have that IT factor. some players just have it others dont. You cant coach it of course.

coaching staff so far is doing good. very surprised at the adjustments so far that is. we have a whole season to go and we just made it past the 1st quarter in the season so lets see how this plays out.

i especially like what Rod is doing with his group. thats a tough gig.

if the offense keeps this up lots of respect to that coaching staff there. big props. i have always been realistic about our staff and our .500 record. so this is not coming casually at all.

NOT being .500 in the 1st quarter of the season is a welcome change. lets see whats next.

Yeah it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than simply staying the course to contend for a Super Bowl. More like a miracle. 3 wins against bad opposition does not a contender make. There are so many areas of weakness that haven't been exposed because of the quality of teams we've faced.

The Cowboys will win Super Bowl 51. #destiny Denver will be a tough out though.

And could someone send this info to Jimmy Johnson. The man has forgotten what winning football looks like.

Amazing what having solid play at qb can do to your offense
The play calling hasn't changed a lot but the execution has
Zeke is playing very well but the biggest difference to me has been at qb

Dak is the main reason for all these things.
They are 4th in scoring in NFC also. with 101 points.

In 2014 with romo they had 115 points after 4 and were 3-1
The 3 teams romo beat were titans 2-14,rams 4-12,NO 7-9
SF beat Romo and they turned out 8-8

So Dak has done as good as Romo in 2014, but people want to bench him
in favor of a long dormant Romo who didnt do any better in start of 2014
in fact with no ints, Dak has outdone Romo

Not really so many. MLB. Pass rush.

They are well above avg at all offensive positions and the secondary

If d law can improve the pass rush and they get better play at DT and anyone other than lee shows up at lb they can keep winning.

Meh, the ground game has been the x factor more so than Dak imo. It was a thing of beauty against SF. The line looking like a flank of roman storm troopers and just steam rolling db's. Dak is the captain giving orders no doubt, however... Garret and Linehan deserve atleast a marginal amount of credit for the scheming and philosophy they have in mind. Still a lot of ground to make up for after last years debacle in my eyes, but so far this team has reminded me of the 2014 squad with new pieces.

One thing I notice about Dak is he doesn't just lock on too or just focus on 88 and 82. The rock really gets spread around.
