Since 1990, when playoff formats were last realigned, there have been 32/33 teams to have started 8-1 and make the playoffs. 31/32 of those teams were division winners.

The Ravens are 5-4 for the fifth time in franchise history. All four of those previous teams made the playoffs with 1/4 of those squads having won the division.

Since 1990, when playoff formats were last realigned, 73/148 of teams that started 5-4 made the playoffs.

This is the first time in the series the Cowboys will enter the game with a better record than the Ravens.

Much is made of how the Cowboys have yet to beat the Ravens in franchise history through four games. The longest such drought before earning the first win against a franchise is six losses to the Packers from 1960-70.

Similarly, the Cowboys are not the only NFL franchise to have not yet notched a win against another team. Currently, there are four franchises who similarly don’t have a win against active franchises:

Chicago Bears: 0-4 versus Houston Texans

New York Jets: 0-10 versus Philadelphia Eagles

Houston Texans: 0-4 versus Philadelphia Eagles; 0-4 versus Minnesota Vikings

Jacksonville Jaguars: 0-7 versus New England Patriots

The Cowboys are 32-16 in pre-Thanksgiving games and currently on an 11-game winning streak.

This is the 24th time the Cowboys will be at home the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Dallas has a 17-5 record in such games.

The Ravens are 1-0 in Dallas with their lone win being the final game in Texas Stadium.

The Cowboys are 0-2 against the Ravens in November.

The Ravens are making their first regular season at AT&T Stadium. Opposing teams are 17-12 in their first games at AT&T Stadium.

The only team remaining to have not played in AT&T Stadium is the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Ravens are 1/9 franchises to have come from another city and relocated...

DAK PRESCOTT FACTS

Last week, Prescott became the first rookie quarterback since 1960 to win at Lambeau Field and in Pittsburgh.

Prescott is the first ever Cowboys rookie quarterback to start against the Ravens, though not the first to play against them. On Nov. 21, 2004 Drew Henson was inserted into a losing situation and went 6/6 for 47 yards and a touchdown and lost a fumble in Baltimore.

Prescott’s 106.2 passer rating is the fourth-best in the NFL.

Prescott’s 106.2 passer rating is only surpassed by Kurt Warner’s 119.1 as the highest such rating through a quarterback’s first nine career games.

If the season ended today, Prescott’s 106.2 passer rating would be a single-season high for rookie quarterbacks, surpassing Robert Griffin III’s 102.4 set in 2012.

Prescott is the 33rd rookie quarterback to have started against the Ravens. Rookies are 10-23. Here is the list of rookies who vanquished Baltimore:

1997 – Jake Plummer

2004 – Carson Palmer

2004 – Ben Roethlisberger

2005 – Charlie Frye

2005 – Kyle Orton

2007 – Trent Edwards

2011 – Blaine Gabbert

2012 – Robert Griffin III

2013 – E.J. Manuel

2015 – A.J. McCarron

Prescott’s 13 sacks are tied for the fourth-fewest in the NFL among quarterbacks who have started since Week 1.

Among quarterbacks who have started since Week 1, Prescott’s 66.8 completion percentage is the sixth-best in the NFL.

Prescott’s two interceptions are tied with Russell Wilson and Sam Bradford for the fewest by quarterbacks who have started since Week 1.

Prescott is just the third Cowboys rookie quarterback to throw for 300 yards. The other two were Troy Aikman and Chad Hutchinson.

EZEKIEL ELLIOTT

Elliott is tied with LeSean McCoy for the highest yards per carry among running backs who have played since Week 1 with a 5.1 yards per carry.

Elliott is atop the NFL with 111.7 rushing yards per game. DeMarco Murray, who is in second place, averages 93.0 yards per game.

Elliott also leads the NFL with 22 carries per game.

Elliott is tied with Murray and Arizona’s David Johnson for the third-most total touchdowns with 10.

Elliott leads the NFL in all-purpose yards with 1,255.

Elliott has the third-most touches in the NFL with 216. Murray is ahead of Elliott with 228.

Elliott is three yards away from setting the Cowboys’ single-season rookie rushing record. Tony Dorsett holds it with 1,007 yards.

Elliott would need to average 115 rushing yards per game to break Eric Dickerson’s record of 1,808 yards.

Flacco is also on pace for 16 interceptions, which would be the second-highest seasonal output for his career.

Flacco’s 5.7 adjusted yards per attempt is the absolute worst among quarterbacks who have started since Week 1.

Flacco’s 78.3 passer rating through nine games is his third-lowest such output of his career. He ranks the absolute worst among quarterbacks who have started since Week 1.

Flacco’s 26-10 November record contains the most wins by any starting quarterback since 2008 when Flacco entered the league.
