Cowboys 12th ranked draft class by Dane Brugler

How does Malik Hooker go unchallenged year after year . At least Donovan Wilson will lay the wood create some turnovers . Next draft this position FS has to be addressed the Corners need help .

After taking Hamilton in last years draft the Ravens take Malachi Starks this year . Holy smokes that organization can draft .

Really interested in seeing Taio.

Hitting on a big-bodied NT in the 7th would lift this draft class.
right. considering the depth of the position and our lack of activity early, that would just be an absolute dream if he panned out. and given the history of the league, run stuffing fat boys have been found late fairly often. pls pls pls

I think Hooker could be a surprise cut this training camp. He has no sponsors in the building anymore.

The team also clearly likes Juanyeh Thomas, but I don’t know if it’s at free or strong safety.

They are Jedi masters. Let other teams get enamored with the shiny toys & "potential" and football players just fall in their laps. For years they have largely loaded up on SEC players as well. Even most of their "misses" are solid contributors.

It’s time for them to get past the Chiefs & Bills

I like Juanyeh Thomas as well . He’s like Mukuamu who I hope is the Cowboys nickel back to replace Lewis .

This is where guys like Dane Brugler fall short with me.

I did a couple dozen mock drafts this year. And even if Booker wasn't your pick, if you just went on grades of BPA, most fans would have said it was too unrealistic to get the players we got.

Throw in the fact that Jerral-tall is running the show, at over 80, and we came out with a draft like this with 3 guys who all could have had legit round 1 grades with Booker, Ezeiruaku, and Revel. It was a good draft, by almost any standard.

Hooker has given stability to the FS position that we haven't had since the 90s

Stability ? I see lots of CB’s trailing receivers running free and i wonder where is deep double coverage help or heaven forbid an occasional INT ?

Actually, looking at spotrac, Hooker’s 2025 salary ($5.5M) become fully guaranteed on 3/16/2025, so it’s not likely they cut him this season.

Donovan Wilson laying the hits near the line forcing fumbles blitzing occasionally you have to say he’s been one of the better draft picks over the last decade .

12. Dallas Cowboys

Favorite pick: Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College

After McMillan went top 10, I loved the fit for Tyler Booker at No. 12. But Dallas got even better value with its two picks on Day 2. A bendy athlete with long arms, Ezeiruaku was my 22nd-ranked player because of his ability to reach the quarterback (No. 1 in the FBS with 1.38 sacks per game in 2024).

Day 3 pick who could surprise: Jay Toia, DT, UCLA

A prospect who easily could have been drafted in the fourth round, Toia is a stout, wide-bodied run defender who can stack and shed the point with ease. With his ability to muck things up at the line, it won’t be surprising when he earns a valuable role as a one-technique tackle in coordinator Matt Eberflus’ scheme.

Giants 5th, Eagles 11th, Skins 19th. The Patriots are his #1 class.

He's got the Chiefs 18th and I think he's nuts. They killed it.
Tola is going to make you forget about Mazi.
