This is the best thread in months. How cool. And, yes, I thought about calling phone numbers. LMAO
Don't you get tired of following me around and saying the same baseless response to my same insults over and over?
Jerry said that they went Linehan because it doesn't mean they change the playbook and can keep the same terminology. He said that Linehan will call plays on it.
If you got a problem with it, take it up with Jerry..
Follow you around? You must be kidding. I have probably posted <25 times on this site in the past year. And I can assure you, that in no way do I go around looking for your post.
Cmon Man.

As for the playbook/terminology - its called Air Croyell - and a bunch of teams run it. There are literally 100's of various plays made out of this design. Weve also sprinkled in plenty of other systems (WCO) as well. The variety of the offense is entirely up to the play caller.
When you dont like your dinner, you typically dont blame the grocery store. Same idea here. All the groceries are available (plays), but the chef has to do something with them (make the right calls).
You don't follow me around, while claiming that's all I post about..
I know it's the Air Coryell, but that has nothing to do with the point.. It's Garrett's playbook from his own 'Air Coryell' and Linehan was chosen to call plays from it.. They are using the same playbook they have been using with Garrett per Jerry's own words..
The very reason Callahan is not here as OC and calling the plays was because he was moving away from it.
And Garrett was resisting, so Garrett's hands are still over the offense. Like I said, if you got a problem with it take it up with Jerry..
They are also running basically Callahan's running game and zone blocking schemes. I know what's different and what's not.. You also saw a deterioration particularly in red-zone scoring this year, despite our OL being the same. Many of the features that were successful from Callahan, such as the drag route with Dez in the slot a lot more has vanished from the equation.
And that conservative game-plan was all Garrett and Linehan wanted to start Moore before they even brought in Cassell, as reported by Broaddus. So he's the one dictating direction.
I'm sure the QB and WR being injured all year had nothing to do with that.
This. It looks a lot tougher than it is. Most people who played even at the high school level should understand the majority of what's going on, especially since position by position its broken down pretty well.
