You don't put a "C" on a rookie that hasn't even earned his star yet on his helmet! There will be time for that in another season. If one of these rookies can make the all-pro list, then they can be a captain in 2027. I don't like this youthful ideology of just giving things away, they have to earn it! That includes that blue star on the helmet and that "C" on the chest. It's got to mean something. I think the players respect it more that way.
