Cowboys 2025 schedule makes NFL history with never-before-seen gauntlet

The Dallas Cowboys' 2025 NFL regular season is set, and it's shaping up to be a wild one. The NFL schedule makers made sure that Dallas lived up to its America's Team moniker with six primetime games, including the regular season opener.

But, there's another interesting note. The Cowboys' regular season schedule is a historic one. For the first time in NFL history, a team will be playing four Thursday games in the same year, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Dallas takes the field on Thursday for the regular season opener, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a high-profile NFC clash in the second half of the season that falls in one of the team's brutal four-game stretches.

...the real fiber of the Dallas past is up for challenge. This fan is keeping the faith and knows their real hearts aren't color washed out in rewash.

The Eagles are the only team over the first ten games that has a win total projection over 10,

Dallas does well on the road. Philadelphia will be a good Dallas game!

The Cowboys are the first team in NFL History to have 4 Thursday Night Football games on their schedule, they also have the second most primetime games(6) behind the Chiefs(7)
No matter what Dallas will always be considered America’s team. Regardless of record or prior year’s performance we always get the most televised games. Whether we’re 12-5 or 7-11. America wants to see its team.

We’ll always be America’s team!!!!

We have never played 4 Thursday Night football games before. Two of them of course are on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The opener and other yearly Prime Network game .

I don’t believe we’ve ever had consecutive games on Monday Night either. Although we do have a bye in-between.

The good news is only 2 Sunday night games as we usually play the maximum 3.

While the schedule is more favorable early on in schedule with the likes of Jets, Carolina, Raiders and Cardinals in a stretch which we need to get off to a fast start cause in November we have a brutal stretch with 6 straight playoff teams from last year in Phil, KC, Det, Minn, LAC and Wash.

It's worse than it looks. We get the Eagles after we play a Monday night game in Vegas and get the Chiefs that Thursday game, Thanksgiving. We play the following Thursday, then finally get a nice 10-day rest before we play the Vikings. If we go 2-2 for those games I'll be happy.

I never cared about the schedule. Fans old enough to watch some of the late 70s, 80s, especially the early 90s, did we care who was on the schedule? Absolutely not. Do we have a team that can win or not?

Preseason schedule rank and post season schedule rank can change drastically for a variety of reasons. It looks tough now but let’s see how the season progresses
