Cowboys 2025 schedule makes NFL history with never-before-seen gauntlet

Cool.

8-9.

Trade for Arch.
An 8-9 record is not getting Arch. If they were looking into the future, they shouldn't have paid Dak, traded Parsons for a haul, then started some bum at QB this season. Then they can get the QB of choice. I'm not saying I agree with that tactic, but the Cowboys are never all in either way.

It always seems like the Cowboys are trying to win and rebuild at the same time. That's just running in place. We're always good but not great. We always compete but not contend. Teams we beat or contend with pass us by because Dallas never really improves beyond being good.

You trade Parsons and some picks you can get Arch.

And 8-9 is at best. I can easily see them being worse than that.

No matter what Dallas will always be considered America’s team. Regardless of record or prior year’s performance we always get the most televised games. Whether we’re 12-5 or 7-11. America wants to see its team.

We’ll always be America’s team!!!!
The Cowboys are like Muhammad Ali in his heyday. Some folks loved him, some folks hated him, but everyone had an opinion.

Dallas probably has one of the largest fan bases of any NFL team. They also likely have the largest number of haters in the NFL.

Either way, people will tune in.

Of course. I just gave a scenario that gives us any QB we want. But what if Arch sucks? We just traded away picks and a generational talent for nothing.

IMO, we should never have extended Dak. Let our QB2, who is he again? Let him play out the season and go from there.

The entire schedule is no tougher than most, but the 2 nd half of the season could be..uh…interesting

We know Dak sucks and is a loser. We don’t know what Arch is yet.

What if Mahomes sucked? The Chiefs had a QB that was getting them to the playoffs consistently, but still traded up for Mahomes. You can’t play scared.

Give me the unknown in Arch over the known loser in Dak any day.

The Cowboys are the first team in NFL History to have 4 Thursday Night Football games on their schedule, they also have the second most primetime games(6) behind the Chiefs(7)
Jerry has done well with the marketing, and the NFL depends on the love/hate.......as Tex Schramm once said or similar....."Even bad publicity is publicity." We get talked about as if we are the reigning SB champs.....and that's comical from the likes of Skip/SAS/The Facility/etc.

This will show a lot...

The Cowboys have a 4 week stretch of:

Wk12- vEagles
Wk13-vChiefs
Wk14-aLions
Wk15-vVikings

Sheesh
No worries we will make these teams all losing teams this year !

Ha Ha

this minute with an unproven coach and not seeing any training camp. I would go with 8 - 9 best case.

I never cared about the schedule. Fans old enough to watch some of the late 70s, 80s, especially the early 90s, did we care who was on the schedule? Absolutely not. Do we have a team that can win or not?
Dak's cowboys have a miserable record against really good teams, but I'm sure he will post MVP runner up style numbers against the scrubs this year per usual.

That's if he lasts that long. A few good hard hits and he might crumble like a broken cookie. He is older, mentally and physically.

And this "best shape of his life" crap has to stop.

I'm betting 10 to 12 wins this regular season. This team will be tough and a strong opponent in games. Blow the whistle and let's go!

Just a question: why do people hate Thursday games? Is getting the Cowboys game as early as possible not the best outcome?

There is no injury data stating it’s worse, and any opponent is at equal deficiency at game planning as you are

I particularly hate the "shortened week" if they're playing on the Sunday before. Also, we've played teams on Thursdays who were coming off a "bye" week. Totally unfair!!

Dak is strong in comeback games. That is against a good game team and showing real value quality in the NFL.

This is more than gold medal counting and worship.
