We had a signature bet about how bad the cowboys defense was gonna be. You said they would give up 24 ppg and have less sacks than last year. Loser was supposed to put up signature of winners choosing.

Lol I'm not trying to squeeze out of anything I'm just going off of memory. I don't remember what thread we made the bet in. I wish I would have taken a picture.

I know, I screwed that up too. I think the sack number over under was 31. You took the over, I took the under. 31 we push. What are you saying the over under is for the defense 24?

They're 16th in offensive yards/series and 25th in offensive points/series playing a mix of good and bad defenses so far. They throw short to Green a lot, and you have to tackle him well. They can run the ball, and they can also beat you deep with Green if you give Dalton time.

For our part, defensively we've done a lot better with our run fits the last two weeks after looking really shaky in week one. We're still giving up 1-2 big runs every game, but on many series, we play the run pretty well. Our secondary tackles well overall.

Their running game is powerful and they have a big offensive line. Hill can bust loose up the middle and gio is a shifty guy that can really get to the middle of the field. It's going to be tough.

Offensively I'm not really worried about our guys. It's defensively that I think their style of play is pretty well made for our weaknesses. And j hill and gio are much bigger threats than Jennings.

I don't think they're a pushover by any means. I'm only trying to say that they're a good next-level test for us.

Defensively, we usually do a good job with tackling sideline to sideline when the receiver has the ball in front of the defense. Jones, Church, Mo, and (yep) Wilcox all are pretty good at this. Green, of course, is a different level of challenge from most player with the short passes. But it's at least something we've got a chance to stop. I like our chances there a lot better than I do with teams that can put the ball over the MIKE and in front of the Safeties or who consistently push the ball deep downfield.
