This is not what I want to read on this, the eve of a Cowboys playoff game.

Doesn’t take away the 37 drops.
You must not know how to process stats. It absolutely provides context. Doesn't EXCUSE a "drop" but it also may explain why we have so many more than the AVERAGE. Every team will have drops...the # vs attempts provides context.

Unless you're a cheerleader who doesn't care about math.

No it doesn’t. There were 37 passes dropped. That’s a hell of a lot of drops. 3rd most in the league.

I thought for the most part our receivers did a great job catching the ball this year, but maybe not?
Yes, the drop stat is extremely subjective.
I saw a clip of drops league leader Tyreek Hill today.
He has 10 "drops" and at least 7 looked like awful passes that he managed to get a finger on. The others were tru drops though.

I have no idea what our drops look like on average. Someone would probably have to through all of them to tell.
