Could we go 4-0 against New York this year? How great would that be?

Possibly 5-0 if we face the jints again in the playoffs and 6-0 if buffalo makes it to the super bowl.. ok, that was a stretch.

Oh Buffalo is in NY.

I couldn't figure out the math.

Dude, you live in New Jersey and didn't know that?

:laugh2: I was being facetious.

But I also thought he could mean the Giants (2) and Jets (1) and then the Giants again in the playoffs.

There were a few angles you could take

The city of Buffalo is as far away and irrevelant to us New York Cityers as Cleveland or Pittsburgh. The only people who view NYC and Buffalo together are legislators in Albany.

So Buffalo isn't in New York... yet it definetly is in the boundries of the state.

I'm so confused.....

or maybe it's because he said New York... not New York City.... New York = the state.

Everyone knows that New York = New York City. Everything else is up state or something. :)

That pretty much sums up my feelings, but it's also why western New Yorkers hate people from NYC.

Then again, NY is a weird state. We have 20 million people. 8 million in NYC, 2 million in Nassau/Suffolk, and another 1 million in Westerchester/Yonkers.

That means 52% of the population live in less than 5% of the square acreage of the state.

Having went to university in Buffalo in the late 80's and early 90's, I realized how irrelevant that part of the world really was. It's also why the populace polarizes around the Bills so badly.
