I'm going to go out on a limb and say that that is about as close to a dream draft as possible.

DJ at #11, MW at #20, Hawthorne in the 2nd...

I need to go change my drawers.

If that's how our draft goes I'll go to Valley Ranch and kiss Bill Parcells' shoes.

I'd be heated! Love the 1st round but another DT and 3 WR's plus the bum in the 6th?

Of course, the only bad part about that mock draft is Maurice Clarett, but I'd be willing to spend a 6th on camp fodder if we got those other picks.

I think Jones will end up being a TE not a Wideout, but I could be wrong. He just didn't seem quick enough for the outside. I guess he could be like Bennett though.

All in all this has to be done by a cowboys fan. Everyone of our picks is someone that slipped past where they are projected in the first two rounds.

Jones is quick enough for WR. If Keyshawn can play WR, then so can Matt Jones.

Again I thought his top speed was good enough, but if you watch him run he has a huge stride. I'm just not sold on his ability to make quick turns and run sharp routes.

Key doesn't have good top end speed but he runs solid routes and he takes small steps. He always has his feet under him, which you will notice in increment weather games.

But my point is Jones is quicker then Keyshawn. I didn't mention speed. Jones is faster and quicker now then Keyshawn was when he was drafted.

The only knock on Jones is experience at his position, but once upon a time Hines Ward was a college QB with no experience at WR either. And Jones is more physically gifted then Ward.

Well we'll have to agree to disagree then. When I watched him run drills I thought he had slow feet. As for experience, I have no problems with smart players changing spots. Especially guys with dedication (He was in speed camp for months leading up to the combine). I think he'll learn the position fine.

Well I wouldn't expect him to be a superstar as a rookie. He'd be a project, but well worth the chance IMO. QBs that change positions seem to have a way of doing well at their new positions (Brian Mitchell as a KR, John Lynch as a Safety, Hines Ward and Randel El as WRs, etc...)
