Don't the New Orleans Hornets have major attendance issues? (I'm not sure, I don't follow the NBA a whole lot).

If so, I'm not sure how they are ranked 3rd.

And I'm not sure how the Pats rank 11th.

Apparently they do it in the way of polls. Basically, it's how happy you are that you are getting the championships, bang for your buck. How much you like the ownership, coach, players and FO and so on. They didn't just come up with these numbers.

I have issues with the Spurs being behind the Pats in the last 3 categories.

The Spurs give max effort....and are far more likeable off the court than the Pats.

Coaching: I'd take Pop over Belicheat anyday. Pop has the best winning % in pro sports since 97. He is a mastermind and makes excellent adjustments. Plus, he doesn't have to cheat to win....

Title Track: The Spurs have one more title than the Pats....and if the Spurs win this year, they would have 2 more.

Sorry, but the Pats are no ahead of the Spurs in any of these 3 categories.

I think it's all just based on the most recent success and direct feelings as a result. It has been a feel good year for New Orleans in general and the NBA had the All Star game there so lots of people are routing for the town and team kinda like they jumped on the Saints a couple years ago. The team is actually really good. They knocked us (Mavs) out of the playoffs, and could very well do the same to the defending champ Spurs.

I completely see the Colts love. Peyton Manning is like the opposite of evil (Pats) and his commercials are hilarious. That in and of itself is enough to get through a season...championship or not.
