I doubt if they do it, but I'm quite sure they've been practicing to defend it by using these players...

Whenever we empty the backfield, we get blitzed and the results aren't always to our advantage.

Our most recent ex-coach would say there are two sides to that pancake if asked about an empty set.

This season, the Cowboys went with 4+ WR setup only 36 times out of 352 pass attempts. So, have done it but very rarely. The result of 4+ WR set wasn't too bad but not as good as 2 or 3 WR setup. It seems that 3-WR set gets best results for the Cowboys offensive scheme.

This is the advantage that the Cowboys have over the Packers and NE.

This advantage most likely will play out in the playoffs. Our scoring and yards are right up there and we are doing most of it out of a base or 3WR set. The other teams are committing to the pass with a 4-5 WR set.

I think this is a distinct advantage when the pressure is on come playoff time. We have the most balanced attack and we still score gobs of points with it.
