Is Keith Smith playing safety in camp? I didn't realize he was that light. He's got an uphill battle but he sure was a tackling machine. That's one thing I've noticed about all the rooks on D. Very active, chase sideline to sideline, hustle relentless type players. Even the DL they drafted or signed. I love it.

If Wilson could blossom I'd feel really good about our Weakside DE position. Mincey is clearly not the long term solution to the rotation with Lawrence

San Francisco is very deep. But we are much deeper across the board than we have been since Bill Parcells was here.

I'll update my spreadsheet.

It's unfortunate that they can't have a more accurate roster.

Is it confirmed he will be our 3-tech? Not left end I mean it's the official roster just saying cause he can play across the line.

He is definitely the 3-tech.

The roster on the Cowboys site is a mess. They have Martez Wilson as a LB but he only played DE. They have Wilber as a LB but he played the 2nd half of the season as a LB.

Very true, I'm hoping Martez can really turn out our sub speed rusher, and well yeah it's just weird when was Melton been a DE? He would of been maybe in a 3-4, it is really a mess lol.

23 of them I have no idea about. Clutts and Wilson left zero impression on me last season. Time for some youtube scouting.

Martez Wilson was a LB in college. He is a freak athlete with good length. He had problems in coverage when the Saints switched to the 3-4. He went to Oakland and they tried him as a 4-3 LB which was not a good fit.

My guess is that he struggles with the mental side of NFL football. The RDE position in Marinelli's scheme is very simple which should give him a chance to succeed.

They kept Wilson over guys like Brown that played more snaps.

I don't think that it is a slam dunk that the LSU FB beats out Clutts.

You tube scouting is always fun.

Make sure you take a look at Ben Malena. He is one of my favorite UDFA's this year. I really like the way he plays.

I'd like to know what you think of him.
