Cowboys activate Overshown and Revel

Im excited for him, also cautious.

Steph and Jerry still think theres a chance.

But they forgot, Eberjoke is here to sabotage 25'.

I didnt think it was a good hire, and still don't. I don't trust his schemes, play calling or overall feel of the game.

Having said that, this defensive roster with all of its injuries, it seems to be pretty bad.

So lets see how Eb does with Quinnen and some better players at LB and in the secondary. Still ain't holding my breath...

I'm super excited for them as people and also excited to see them play for this horrible defense! Breaking them in against LVR is about as easy as we can do for them.

Revel looks like he has all the tools to have success in this league. But he is a rookie from a smaller school, coming off ACL and has had no training camp.

How long will it take to overcome that and play to his potential.

You are right. But when I mention suckers, I meant someone has to believe this flawed team has a chance to win for there to be odds to bet on. This is a byproduct of the snake oil salesman himself Jerry Jones.

I understand hope springs eternal with some fans and there is nothing wrong with that. But there will be no change as long as Jerry lives and breathes. He has reiterated on numerous occasions that he is the central decision maker in the Cowboys front office and he never plans to give that up.

So as his life winds down, he has become Al Davis 2.0. A once innovative man who has become an old, wtubborn narcissist who refuses to allow change. We all know how this is going to end.

I am just a realist who chooses to profit off of the teams misdirection, rather than wallowing in misery or drinking Jerrys Kool Aid.
You never profit from gambling in the long run. Only fools and gambling addicts believe that. Seek help.

The rest of the year probably.

You hope.
The comparison doesn't even make sense. Jaylon had one of the worst knee injuries ever with nerve damage that caused drop foot. Overshow has had the misfortune of tearing a knee up twice and this most recent had nothing to do with being glass. His leg was pinned in a pile and an OL knocked him in a direction his knee wasn't meant to bend.

Oh yeah. Game against the Raiders is really going to be the “turn around” game.

Here on out is Matt's chance to show he should stay IMO. I think Jerry was giving him some leeway due to injury and team adapting. However, after those trades and activations, this team is sort of healthy, outside of a few players, which at the halfway mark is reasonable
