We didn't have much higher ceiling guys that we do now in Dante Fowler and Sam Williams. and Basham is not that much of a difference making run stuffer.
to have him ahead of bigger impact guys like Williams/Fowler, imo. ..

People don’t remember but Basham was one of their best players at camp this offseason.

SAM in 43 under, lined up over TE, the way Bruce Irvin was used in Seattle… can rush or drop in coverage, did it a lot with him last year after Gregory, Armstrong and Lawrence all came back in after injury! He was an OLB in both Indianapolis and New York, don’t think you want him playing Mike or Will.

I too wonder where Bash is gonna get snaps because Sam has to get a bigger portion of snaps moving forward. I like the idea of #11 getting more snaps at MLB, but I doubt it happens.

It's a good problem to have wondering how a heavily used rotational guy from last year will get snaps this season. Basham will probably take snaps from Gholston who plays about 25% of the snaps. I don't think Basham will have a big role and can't see him taking snaps from Armstrong, Fowler, and Williams who have been excellent in their roles for playing time received.
