Scouts miss on guys most of the time anyway.

Scouts don’t draft so can’t really judge them by teams drafts
The key is those late round guys. I can pick stars in the top of first, but finding a starter quality player in the last few rnds is really the key to good scouting and cap management
Don’t know a thing about this guy but hopefully he can find some late rnd gems

Maybe Jerry thinks he is outsmarting them. Instead of signing an ex player to get the inside scoop for when we play them. He will get it from their scout instead.
