Cowboys add Ken Amato as defensive staff assistant

The Cowboys have added Ken Amato as a defensive staff assistant, which moves the team closer to finalizing Jason Garrett's staff. Amato worked with the Cowboys' special teams last year through minority coaching fellowship program. He spent nine seasons (2003-11) with the Tennessee Titans as a long snapper. He replaces Turner West, who took a job at Austin Peay.

Yeah, other teams do have this position. Off the top of my head: Dallas, Atlanta, Green Bay, Rams and some college teams too.
