Cowboys After Hutchinson/Alexander?

they will not let hutch get away and alexander will not get any huge offers. not because he is'nt deserving, he is the all time simgle season scoring leader and has been in the top 2 rushinmg back to back years but rb's are just not that hot of a commodity in f.a., you could have had edge cheap last year and no one wanted him. too many decent ones coming out of college and he is not 25 anymore.

Remember, Alexander was a backup to Ricky Watters as recently as a couple years ago. He wasn't touted as MVP material coming out of college.

Uhh, yeah...he was a first round pick and pretty much touted as a sure thing and he's been the starter for at least five seasons.

The Skins may try to go after Hutchinson, but I feel his asking price will be too high. He would be a great pickup as he is the best LG in the league.

By under 30, do you mean 29 by next season. C'mon man. He's so great his own team gave him the go ahead to become a free agent this year with NO future starter on the roster. The Cowboys have potentially two future starters and you want to send them to the bench for a guy that has a few more good years in him. Right lets give Alexander $15 million signing bonus. Thats what this team needs.

If Alexander becomes a free agent it will only because Seattle either doesn't think he is worth the cap hit, or don't have the cap room to sign him. They would not be letting him go otherwise.

they may have cap problems -- but that only means that they can't spend IF they care about being cap healthy 2-3 years down the road. If they are taking a "win now, screw the future" stance, then they can make several big time FAs happen.

sounds like he will be a skin then. They'll throw a hundred million at him and trade 9 draft picks for him and we'll sit here and talk about how they're going to be in cap hell the next 20 years. Then we'll still sit here and wonder why they're not going broke and can even fill their roster.
