Cowboys allowed 9 of 10, 3rd down attempts

I'm not fool enough to think this defense was going to be final product first week of the season with a new DC, but I was expecting to see something better than what we saw last season.
I don't have a lot of confidence going forward if the Cowboys defense almost looked worse than what we saw last year.
I did not see an ounce if improvement in any phase of the defense from last year. Let's be honest, when it's all said and done, the Giants offense is probably going to end up being somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Will be a long season if can’t stop a team on 3rd and long the whole game and sometimes those are picked up on runs.

The defense was terrible. IDK who's decision it was to not play our starting defense in preseason but we dropped the ball there. New players, new scheme, new DC and first time play caller. We should have played them in preseason. We are basically treating real games as preseason now as we learning as we go.

New York also has an entirely new coaching staff.

They came to play. And looked prepared.

A couple lucky breaks like recovering Skattebo's fumble and the interception and the game is closer.

I don't know. The taunting penalty, things like that. That's not necessary. Poor discipline.

The Giants are gonna be good for a while. That's a good team.

Dak looks stiff, robotic and less fluid this year as well.

The added a HC that commands respect and now have competent QB play.

I don’t know why people were figuring it to still be two auto wins. They were awful for a while and provided plenty of padding to the numbers of some recent Dallas teams.

Once again, we have probably been lapped by another franchise.

It was demoralizing to have been outcoached yet again, but it’s been going on so long it should almost be expected. Doesn’t matter who the coach is.

Funny how Jerry’s success came with coaches that are in the HOF, and it’s been misery with his hand picked puppets, but he still has no respect for coaching. He really ought to just take the job himself already. He probably would but there’d be no scapegoat.

I truly believe if Dallas had 12 defenders they would still be an average defense. Those WRs were wide open. Nabors without a defender within 10 feet. Several times. They picked up chunk yards on 3 straight to the flat. No one there. Zero pressure. Poor tackling. The DL got pushed around. It's the soft culture more than anything else.
