Win now! Or at least try to. Unless your team sucks on both sides of the ball, I think it should always be that way.Jerry is 78 years, 4 months and 23 days old.

We should be, but some won't. What the first year allows is for the team to use any restructures to make any changes they want to the team. Obviously, the Joneses aren't going to be big spenders in free agency because they never are, but the ability is there to create as much space as needed to build a defense that could support this offense.
Obviously, there are some who believe that restructures are the devil, so they will think we've ruined any chance we have of improving.
Quite a bargain for a franchise generating 800 million a year.$160M over 4 years......so Dak will basically be paid $5M per win over the next 4 seasons.......32 wins X $5M = $160M
The worst ran franchise in sports..
Todd France and Dak.. Thanks for destroying our team.
You don’t tell your kids to thrive to be the best they can.
I am a huge Dak fan. As you all know.
But man the Jones’ boys got taken to the woodshed. 4 year deal. No trade clause. No tag clause.
This is exhibit A of why Stephen Jones is an incompetent daddy’s boy who shouldn’t be anywhere near an NFL negotiation table.
I’ll cut my arm off if we sign ANY FA that will help this D. It’s gonna be through the draft.
YepLike I replied to somebody else, the Dak deal tells me the Cowboys are in "win now" mode. Hopefully they aren't setting themselves up for cap hell in the future. But by the time Dak's contract is up the team will probably be free of Zeke, DeMarcus Lawrence, and Amari Cooper's deals to help make up for any dead money from restructures (sorry if I'm not making sense).
If you think that one player is the reason why. And if you do realize it’s the front office then why are you even paying attention to the franchiseLol this team has no direction. Four more years of the same stuff.
Unfortunately that means nothing and the salary cap means everything.
