Cowboys and T.O???

First I believe Peter King is speculating, nothing more. I wouldn't put too much stock in it. Second, I wouldn't want T.O., not for the money he'd want. He likely only has 2-3 premier years left. We need our #1 WR to be stepping into his prime at the same time we reach our ascendency. I still think we're a couple of years away from that.

However, this nonsense about the dancing on the star is starting to get annoying. I used to love watching Irvin trash talk the opponent and I would've loved to see him do something like that (that being said, I enjoyed watching Teague take out Owens.) All this talk of the star being some sacred symbol is all a bit much.

this thread should be removed, this is non-sense. we would never bring TO in, and for practical purposes he would never want tocome here.

I'm only relaying what I heard on the radio. I just about ran off the road when I heard it. I can't believe it would ever happen.

uh, uhm, i...what??

he will never be a cowboy

honestly it wouldnt surprise me if he doesnt really go...anywhere next year. lots of players feel like he's put a bad name on all nfl players...i can imagine that a lot of teams feel like that as well and would be very tentative to deal with him at all, let alone give him a huge contract. This could very well be the end of TO's superstar days.

Although I hate T.O. and wouldn't want him to be a cowboy, do you know why he went on the star?

He said in an interview that he always wanted to do that as a kid cuz he was a cowboys fan when he was little.

He also said he isnt one of the top 10 paid WR's and that he signed an injury waiver clause before the superbowl.

If TO comes to play in Dallas, I better see the four horsemen of the Apocolypse coming on the clouds.

Ick!

We could bring him in for practice and everytime we have practice we could have Bill tell TO to stand in the middle of the field on the star and have roy get a good 10-20 yard head of steam built up and then nail him.

JUST KIDDING....maybe :D

on behalf of my man George Teague... HELL NO!!!. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the day we sign him is the day it becomes "D" battery night at Texas Stadium.

I could watch that only a few hundred times then I MIGHT start to get tired of it. But i like your thinking there Brain.

I really don't care why he did it. It was a classless move for any reason in my book. I do not want to see him in a Cowboys uniform ever. Let's see if he'll stand on the star this year.;)

IF he scores and doesn't stand on the star then you know something is up.

One thing you have to take into account. Owners are making money and if they can bring in someone who will help the team win then I am sure they will do what they see fit reguardless of what the fans want.

It would defintaly be interesting to see TO and BP square off. I think I would like to see that more than RW knocking the snot out of TO.

IMO I think if BP goes to Jerry Jones and says we are a #1 WR away from winning #6 and if BP says he would like to see about getting TO then it will be as good as done and TO will be a Cowboy.

I have to admit if he becomes a Cowboy it would be fun to watch the kindsa taunts he would do to the Eagles.

I don't think TO will be a Cowboy but at the same time I will not be at all surprised if he does become a Cowboy next year.

If we were a #1 WR away from the Super Bowl, I'm hoping there would be another #1 WR out there as a FA that we could pick up.

I agree, if T.O ever wears a Cowboys uniform I'll puke. :ralph:

Ok.....I'll be honest.

I would hate to see TO in a Cowboy uniform.

But I am first and foremost a "Cowboy" fan. If he came in and started scoring TDs and helped us win....then I'd probably root for him. I'd have to scream and cheer because I wouldn't be able to clap......because I'd have one hand holding my nose.

i think we will to is a player and get us over the top jerry know that. if they want to trade him i hope we make the trade

In fact he has really hurt his value on the market with his childish games and name calling of the Qb's he has worked with. He has proved he is a cancer that is more trouble than he is worth.
As for him dancing on the Star I do not think it is a big deal. I would have thought it was funny if one of our guys had done that to the Eagles or some other team I dislike. Plus I feel he got what he deserved when he did that. If I remember right George Tegue nailed him and they both got hit with fines from the NFL. It was worth it when he did that just to see him get nailed and one of our guys stand up and dish it out. I do not think he is man enough to ever try it again. He may still try to get away with little things though.
Unless TO has a stellar year and helps the Eagles win the Super Bowl which I doubt I do not see him on the team next year. HE WILL NEVER BE A COWBOY!Even the Eagles and their fans are getting fed up with him. Heck we are all getting fed up with the TO posts.
Somebody once said "Even bad publicity is Good" but there is a limit and he is there. Curly
