I have a feeling when I'm old I'm gonna be embarrassed I actually thought a scripted sports entertainment show convinced me the outcomes where all real. Last nights game vs the Giants is the perfect example. The ref throws a flag over a wideout being lined 5 inches behind the line of scrimmage in a play where he doesn't even move. Then on the next play the Giants corner back tackles the Red$kins wideout and there is no call. WWE.

For the most part, due to our pitiful performance yestetday, this game has lost 99% of it's significance for philly. They only have to win 1 of their remaing 3 games to win the #1 seed. Philly will play the most vanilla game possible. It will look like a pre season game. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull the 1st and 2nd string by half time. Wow, how great would that be? We call all thump our chests and brag about laying a 50 burger on their practice squad just like we did last year. We are so marvelous. We could be up by 30 with 2 minutes left and MM will still have Dak out there padding the stats. Ever notice how great Dak plays when nothing is on the line? But you want to know the best part? Assuming we can make it through WC weekend, we will get to travel to philly to play them in a game they REALLY want to win. Then they will destroy us. But hey, we will always have bragging rights about hanging a 50 burger on their practice squad, TWICE!!! How bout them Cowboys!!!!

I wondered with the scare last week if Sunday would be a statement game and it started off 14-0 and our Defense thought we would continue to score. Took the foot off the pedal and blew a 17 point lead. So am guessing that egirls game maybe a statement game. I think that would do wonders for us in terms of confidence. And let egirls know we can beat them. Heck they had a hard time with bears.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they come out on Saturday with a “Minnesota game” effort and mindset.

The issue is consistency. They play championship caliber football for a quarter, half, and on occasion— even a full game. It’s building on that and making those performances the norm that is the issue.

Philly could care less about this game now. We are the only ones who care. For all intents and purposes Philly will be the #1 seed. We need to stop acting like this is a big game for them. Due to our pathetic loss yesterday, it isn't.

To me it's practically a foregone conclusion. We WILL beat Philly on Saturday because that's just who we are -- inconsistent and able to beat teams when nothing is on the line. But in the playoffs we will be destroyed.
