This is where one stat without context is deceiving. 2 big things to consider:

1. As many pointed out, we scored 3 in the opener. I’m not dragging Dak, but if anyone is trying to see Coopers avg it’s 22.5 per game. A little less scary

2. We didn’t need more points. Cooper has rarely needed the points to win games outside of the bengals game. We had a wide enough margin that we spent the 3rd and 4th quarters running out clock. This is very different from last year when we were getting garbage time points. Think about how many times we kneeled with 2 minutes left and 3 timeouts, even in field goal range. We could have scored more.

This all might change against the eagles, but I feel oddly good about 22.5 pts/game with this defense

You know I’m just glad we’re winning. I don’t think Cooper rushes the answer. I don’t think Prescott is the answer. I do think we need a franchise quarterback. But I also believe Prescott is 100 times better than a Cooper Rush

To beat the Eagles they'll have to do what they did against the Rams. Make big plays on defense and special teams to either score or put the offense on a very short field.
