Eagles DTs have youth, size, strength and veteran Fletcher Cox. This Arlington Jonesboys OL ain't gonna dominate them.

I had Jordan Davis as an impact rookie and wanted the Cowboys to draft him. We need a DT more than a LG with that 1st round pick.

The way the Cowboys look versus the Broncos with penalties, getting beat deep, getting beat in the redzone on defense, and inept offense, things are going to have to improve dramatically and quickly. They also did not look good in joint practices.

Hope the remaining preseason games bring hope.
I kind of agree with ya about the DT over the LG but if the LG pick turns out to be a monster, (cause you can't turn back the draft clock), I will be happy with the pick.

I was infatuated with studying how Ridgeway fell to the 5th round and how he compared to the rest of the Noses in the draft.

Also, i always study the Eagles picks and haven't been wrong on a single one in a long time. I have two best friends who are Eagles fans who can attest to that.

I was initially all for getting Davis in the draft because i fell for what everyone who sings like he is the second coming fell for. Then when you watch complete games of him, no thanks. No motor, runs out of gas and was only a 2 down player at Georgia.

Watch Ridgeway and he never came off the field and had no help. Ridge is 1 inch short and 15-20 pounds lighter. I'll take him...give me Davis if it is a low 1 or 2nd round, tops.

Cowboys overrated players:

Zeke
Dlaw

Formerly that i said at the time: Collins, Gregory, Byron Jones

Yeah, Davis is a two down player I believe. If I was a team playing against him, I’d try to go up-tempo and test his conditioning.

I do think he’s a good player and can be part of a very good run defense but he never will be a pass rusher. I’d like to have him in Dallas but not at the expense of a first round pick… especially trading up to take him which would cost multiple picks.

Like Jimmy Johnson said, “Run stoppers are a-dime-a-dozen. It is the pass rushers that are valuable.”

If Run stoppers are a-dime-a-dozenm, why can't we get a few good ones?

NOt sure about that one. They have much more than Davis. The have cox, Hargrave (even better than Davis), Milton Williams (Who I wanted last year), and some quality pass rushing DE's.

  • They could have the best DL in all the NFL.

At least Cox is looking like he's nearing the end of his career, but the Eagles have been very good about keeping their interior defensive line strong. I don't expect that to change.

This is a very accurate assessment and sums up my feelings on him perfectly.

Steele and TB are the two weak links. This is the year Biadasz would take the next step if he is going to take it. If not, then we need to go find ourselves a stud Center in the draft.

Steele I think is what he is.

TB just has been almost a bust. I will hope for the best for him (and had higher hopes for him) but so far he has been very lackluster IMHO.

Last year was really his first year as a starter. Not bad considering.

I think its obvious he will never be a pro bowler. But can he be a legitimate starter? We will find out soon enough.

The bust label for a 4th round pick that is a starter is a little over the top.
