We play a base 3-4 defense inwhich teams know how to beat because we
can't blitz affectively and our safeties are a liability against the pass. BP is too stubborn to make changes and opposing teams have figured out this base
defense. I believe the 3-4 can work here with a true 3-4 creative coordinator. During the past few weeks I've notice that our defense now have a hard time getting off the field, and Roy Williams is having less and less
of an affect on the game. Roy is playing 10 to 12 yards from the line of
scrimmage and teams are using this weakness in Roy's game to their advantage. The Cowboys have to figure out the best way to use Roy it's this
late in the season and I don't know if Roy has a sack.
Offensively same as above, on the goal line I want a simple bootleg with Romo on the edges. The Eagles know Barber gets the ball in this situation a
bootleg there on second or third down would have been a walk in touchdown
for Romo. The Eagles are next to last behind the Colts in rushing yards allowed we averaged about 2 to 3 yards.
The bottom line is we cannot win a big pressure game. The NFC East, home
playoff game and a possible bye on the line and this is the performance we
get. The coachs, players and the entire organization is to blame for this loss.
Andy Reid and his staff was perpared and I can't honestly say that BP and the Cowboys staff was. Just look at the New Orleans game same situation same results.
