Cowboys are now looking at 2-5 square in the face

Nothing more entertaining than watching the board immediately after a loss or win. When a win happens they are going to the Super Bowl and when a loss happens its time to tank for a pick.

The most likely scenario is that after next week they are 3-3 and maybe a game back of the Giants and right in the wild card mix setting them up well for the last 2/3 of the season.

I’m not sure I’d say that’s likely .

8-9 wins could keep alive playoff hopes and possibly even division if if rest of division continues to struggle as well.

But if we fall to 2-5 we’ll likely struggle to win 6 or 7 games much like last year.
 
This may have been the worst team in the league tonight. Winless, with a rookie undrafted fa qb starting, and they were on the road.

If you cant beat this team you cant count anyone as a win period. At this point every game is an L until proven otherwise.

Any expectations for the talent to "catch up" are gone. The coaches have shown huge lapses in judgement repeatedly. They are not leading this team anywhere.

When the season started I thought they would be a wildcard team. Granted with the Eagles now collapsing they might win the division but that still puts them around a team that you expect to either lose on Wild Card weekend or maybe sneak into divisional round and get blasted.

I understand the Packers and Egirls both at 2-2 currently have some struggles of their own to contend with but there’s no way in hell anyone can believe this team will turn around if fall to 2-5.

Yea, we have AZ and Indy following but I don’t believe there’s any team left we can consider a game we will win like we did tonight. Every game is losable with our defense.

With this defense we will likely lose more games than we’ll win. Unfortunately this devasting loss places our season at a major crossroads which this road trip will no doubt determine where we go from there. 2-5 pretty much places this season on life support and can begin striking the matches for a dumpster fire.

If we do go 2-5 and that is clearly possible then the coaches may lose the players and 2-15 would not be impossible.

Personally I’d be surprised if they didn’t lose the players already. We got thoroughly outcoached. Their defense shut down our offense and they were missing Winflield. Our defense gave up a 3rd and 21!!! Dude, if the players have any faith in the coaches it is minimal and if we lose a couple more than it’s going to spiral. If it’s not spiraling already. We lost to a lesser team with major injuries and we got completely outschemed and pushed around.
 
Looks like the Jets will be getting 2 premium 1st round picks next year. The one they get from us may end up being higher than theirs.

Worst front office in the NFL. Just remind yourself who hires and retains the coaches. Schottenheimer didn’t hire himself and we know Jerry’s hands were all over the Parker hire.

I feel like that’s been beaten down though.

Jerry trying to prove he’s a football guy for the last 30 years is the biggest joke in the NFL.

I don't think Dak trust our tackles. He's been antsy in a clean pocket. So his play is conductive of their play. And their play has been schotty at best. They normally get their guys blocked, but that's after they've gotten into the backfield. That come from behind the QB sack is always a doozy.
 
what a performance by this high powered high flying joke of an offense. Dak you haven’t changed one bit. Absolutely no reason to believe anything about this team. All the idiots who keep crying if the defense was fixed we would be a playoff team with Dak. No you wouldn’t! Daks not good enough!
