Hey, wait a minute there. I'm a yankee, out of Delaware and Virginia and I've been a Cowboy fan since the 70s so let's not get carried away throwing away any regional basis here. BTW: While living in northern Virginia, I can tell you there is an helliciously large Cowboy fan presence in the area--much to the dissatisfaction of the Commanders & their fans. Just remember Cowboy fans are everywhere and many (if not most of us) have never lived in Texas.

My father has a shirt from back in the day (not sure what era) that reads JERSEY GIANTS.

Not saying that makes them a Jersey team but there is much more debate about it over here in the tri-state area.

Many New Yorkers are actually Jet fans whereas the majority of the Giant fans are located in Central-Upper NJ.

At least the Cowboys play in the STATE of Texas whereas both the Jets and Giants play "out of state" and that's because we don't want them here.

Giants and Jets play in New Jersey. They don't contribute to the New York economy in terms of taxes.

They're smart enough not to change their state name cause they'd lose 99% of their fan base.

And the Washington Commanders play in Maryland, almost as close to the Ravens stadium in Baltimore (a short drive up the BW parkway) as downtown DC.

Umm, no one that is from Virginia would EVER call themselves a Yankee. We were the capitol of the South during the Civil War after all. We are not southerners like Alabama or Mississippi, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but we are most definitely not Yankees and we are part of the South. Don't ever make that mistake again!

Wait a sec. Out of Deleware yes, But not out of VA, unless its northern VA. There are no Yanks south of Fredericksburg. If there is, they need to get the Hell out!.....
