I'm not getting any younger, but I'd encourage the Boys to accumulate as many draft picks as possible now. The wallet's fat. Make it fatter. Cut bait on aging players. Have the currency to do whatever you want in the next 2 drafts and build this team into a monster in 3 years.

We can't stop the run (DL still sucks) or the pass (CBs are all in rehab), we'll likely have trouble running the ball (RBs are scrubs) and protecting the QB (our LTs are the furthest thing from proven), and now we'll have trouble getting to the QB too (who's going to replace Micah's pressure, Fowler? who's on his 5th team in under 10 years?). Oh, and throw in a rookie HC/OC with questionable playcalling history, a ST coach who failed at his previous stop, and an entirely new defensive system.

Good recipe for 5 win season.

Well if it was easy to do, why have only two players been able to place themselves in this category?? There have been thousands and thousands of pass rushers to have come through the NFL.

Unless it's top five, it really doesn't. Micah is a proven all-pro, DPOY candidate and a HOF caliber player. You're LUCKY to find one of those players. And even in the top five, what's to stop us from drafting a RB who is no longer in the league after 7 years?

Well, we got Micah at 12, and nothing is guaranteed. I guess I could ask, "What's to stop us from having another Lamb or Parsons fall to us?

Not a fan of JJ, but I think he did the right thing here. He is the reason he’s in this situation, but this is the first step in getting out of it.

the goal isnt to win the SB, whats the difference? you pay 1 guy or give 5 guys a job. what are you complaining about? its been the model for 30 years around here.
