Jerry turned 1 player into 3, I think we did fine.

I wanted more, but 2 first round picks and a player that can help a weak point is good at least.

The alternative was not having those and not having Parsons if he was sitting out.

Should have pushed for more later round picks though.

I say do it more often. No one should be safe.

Hw wouldn't he have had too, if he had signed him last year or the year before that? This was not about the money. This was personal!

This right here^^. I been telling folks this too. This was the right move.

Two 1s and a pro bowl DT. Compensation feels light, but consider the circumstances. Micah wanted to leave. He was becoming a distraction. Jerry is a fool for conducting negotiations the way he did. Micah acted like a spoiled brat, and the agent never made a counter offer (from what I understand). It was a volatile situation that could've dragged on for the next two or three years. It's done. Micah gets a chance at a championship. Dallas solidifies a major weakness on defense and saves a boatload of cash that can be used to retain guys like Bland and Tyler Smith. DE still looks decent, especially if the heart of the defense is in better shape. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.

yup, couldn't agree more. He's talented for sure but he's also a run liability AND being undersized translates to injuries at some point.
I think the Packers made a good move, too, though. They are potential contenders and Parsons will be more impactful on a balanced defense.

2024 was his worst year, 2023 was his best....will be interesting to see which Kenny Clark we get. His numbers from a year ago might point to an injury last year.

Lots of Packers fans on Packers boards saying he’s washed and injured all the time now, and celebrating that they’re getting off his bloated contract. Turns 30 in a couple months so we’ll see, but this return seems pretty underwhelming at first glance tbh.

He's what the kids today call "mid" most of time anyway. That, or hurt. Plus, he's a distraction. Not a team leader. Haven't really liked him since his rookie season. Not worth what they just gave up for him. Will be fun when he blows up in their face.
