You have to be smart to think of this lol, and our GM and cap boy just are not smart enough to consider that aspect.
Better to trade him to a bottom tier team so the picks would be higher.

You cant replace parsons with a 1st round pick at 27 !!!!!!!!!!!
From this viewpoint GB is one of the worst teams to trade him to ! Plus good chance we face them in playoffs.
He should have gone to a low level AFC team.

Now to look at what they get in return lol.
 
Micah still has lots of pressure on him as the world thinks the GB defence is all that. Let's remember that GB's D feasted on awful teams in 2024, and we saw what happened otherwise. They have added another player who has been a no-show, so we will indeed find out how much of a game-changer Micah really is
 
I guess we can all put those articles aside mentioning " This could be another Hershel walker type trade" for Micha

It's more of the fact that they're one Lombardi away from catching us, and, as a young fan, they're the team that's caused the most pain to me as a fan. 2014, 2016, and 2024, and now they get Parsons? It's painful for me.

He is not average is a 3 time pro bowler, latest 2023. Played thru a foot injury in 2024 that was repaired. Had a great camp this year and looks to be back to 2023 form.
