Cowboys aren’t a top tier team

I warned early on from buying into the SB hype but this season is anything but over. There’s still no other division in NFC we’d be leading or picked to win. And that’s ok. That’s who we are.

We have never missed the playoffs after starting 6-1 in 14 seasons with 10 division titles and 4 WC’s. And we won’t miss it this year.

And if we have everyone healthy could still be a tough out. No expectations beyond that . No SB hype . No top tier team hype.

We are what we are. No need to pimp it anymore than that. If we beat some top tier teams in playoffs advancing then we could elevate our status . But not until then.

Right now we are looking like we do every other year. Out of the gate looking like this is the year. This is a different team this time for sure. Then comes the slump and everything goes wrong.

Next will come a bounce back and we will beat a good team or 2.

This year though we have had a bad bunch of injuries to key players on both sides of the ball. Usually we say welp.. next man up. But losing both edge rush starters and both starting WR and a slowed up QB and now seems Elliot is hurt. That starts to hurt. We need our swagger back. We play with confidence and we win.

Let’s get the starters back in and see or some of them. If we still look bad then I will agree. But right now I still have hope. Disregard my post game and live game thread stuff. I was emotional. Lol..

We’ve had #1 seed a couple times this era and didn’t help us.

All of the divisional winners play in domes or warm climate . Playing on the road in playoffs shouldn’t be a concern unless it’s Green Bay .

But the difference with 2-4th seed is marginal.

The refs screwed up their playoff seeding.

But they still had a chance to beat the Raiders and the Refs. And failed. A team needs to be good enough to overcome both. Refs are just horrible, and it has been getting worse every year.
So this team needs to be better. After losing 3 of 4, they should be woken up now to know what they need to do. This was where Jimmy being a great motivator was great.
Not sure if MM can. Maybe we should send in a truck load of water melons.

My conspiracy theory...the NFL does not want Dallas to get HFA...

I do not deny that the refs screwed us over but they screwed our defense over. The offense needed to step up that entire game and they went threw a huge lull until Pollards kick off return woke them up.
