It's either really hard to get a safety to see which receiver is going to get the ball and be there when it get's there or he is as out of it as Campo was. I know he didn't always have allot to work with but seems like you'd just tellem to pick a guy and knock the hell out of him at least. Even if it's the wrong guy. As soon as a QB made one deep pass these guys heads went down and they were lost. ALL teams are gettin beat deep allot these days but these guys never could come up with an answer. Poke somebody in the eye if you have to.

Given the play of the secondary (except for Scandrick) this season, I don't see how this is a loss.

I dont know whether to blame the coaches or the players. Sterling Moore came off the street and in his first game was searching for the ball while in the air, something Carr and Scandrick just refused to do. Either way we've got to get this problem fixed with our DB's playing with their backs to the QB.

I dunno if our cover problems can be attributed to Smith or not. Zone coverage doesn't suit them to begin with.
In any case, if you go by the performance of our secondary, any change at all might be for the best. It stunk.

The way our secondary got torched this past season, I don't think you will find many on here begging Mikal Smith to stay in Dallas if he wants out.....

I used to think it was a coaching issue but we have recycled DB coaches over and over and still have players with little instincts in that regard. It was a huge issue back even the days of Zimmer.

What is frightening is this is the first time I ever heard of this. He had to be here as part of a fellowship or something.

Maybe there are more mystery coaches than we know about.
