For those in the DFW area and have DTV, local CBS station is back on the air. At least it was 5 minutes ago.

This is great news for us that can listen to the Dallas local announcers and the hour pregame show.
As opposed to listening to the SF announcers on NFLN.

As they often do, the home team gets the TV broadcast on NFLN.

So we can get info on our players as opposed to SF players.

Also today's practice is at 12:45 CST, so should see some coverage on NFLN as usual. Friday is travel day. Sunday off.
Then M - W back to the 5:30 CST practice time, then Th, 12:45 CST and break camp, head to Hawaii to play the Rams on the 17th. Then back home to Frisco. Where hopefully the can then make progress with Zeke and Dak and Amari.

I really enjoy listening to the other team’s announcers, it’s usually a more balanced take on my teams, and it’s fun to listen to them be unbalanced in their critique of their own teams.

So you're saying we get Mickey.

Damn you, Jazz.

Actually if they follow that past years, it will be Brad Sham and Babe Laufenberg.
Mickey will be on the pregame show, and may be the sideline reporter.

Usually the 3rd game Michael Irvin will be in the booth as well. And one of the games Moose will be in the booth.

I don't get the Hawaii thing.

We play Oakland, Los Angeles, and San Francisco for a reason. To cut down the travel and jet lag.

So why fly 5 hours to Honolulu where people don't give a rip anyway?

Probably an NFL type thing. At least it is not one of these overseas game. And they need Dallas for the ratings and fans to show up.

...I heard the pina coladas are good on Kauai. ;)..

I'm thinking about subscribing to Gamepass this year. It's $99 but worth it if we go to the SB. I want to see all the action if we're a great team this year.

So, I remember at one time...if a pre-season game is on the NFLN, they will have the local announcers for the 1st half, and the visiting team's announcers for the 2nd half. Is this still the case for NFLN? I would love to be able to hear Brad and Babe for at least one half of the game.

The locals dont care for the most part, but football is a pretty big draw with the college students and military personnel on the island

I'm going to miss it but if one of y'all can tell me how many times the SF announcers/broadcast mention or reference Zeke I would appreciate it. I have a bet to win.
