Wow! I have never seen a game like that. I'm not sure I ever want to see a game like that again...

I tried to quickly glance at some other threads, and it seems like the same things being said. This game made me light-headed, nervous, red-faced, kind of flushed, a little sick to my stomach, and completely overjoyed with a serious sense of shock. It was surreal...and just amazing!

I don't watch a ton of Monday Night Football unless Dallas is playing. The announcers were terrible. I like Tirico, and I think he's under-appreciated. I like Jaws, and I enjoy listening to his breakdowns most of the time. I even like Tony and his silliness. Put it all together though, and it just doesn't work for me. I don't much like it when the announcers are clearly one-sided either. We get it, you like Buffalo, but come on, don't let it completely blind you! The game was never farther apart than 8 points, and you would have thought that the Bills were up 52-17.

How may times was Jerry going to get caught by ESPN cameras saying GD. A fine might be coming ;)

While I'm thinking about it, did Goodell come to Jerry's suite tonight, or did he just want to stay in Ralph Wilson's?

Was I the only one not completely amazed at Trent Edwards? Don't get me wrong, I actually think he has a nice future. Honestly, I thought the ESPN guys were going to enshrine him tonight. All I saw were a ton of checkdowns, and a QB who couldn't lead his offense to any more than 3 points, despite being given plenty of great chances.

What will you remember more about Tony Romo from this game? Is it the horrible interceptions and some bad luck making the situation worse, or is it the fact that when the game was on the line, he was money? I'll say this for him, I don't know many QBs who could have come back like he did. I can't imagine him ever having a night like this again during his entire career, but I sure saw some guts that impressed me. I know a lot of people keep saying they want to see him respond to adversity. Well, I think he just did.

Actually, I thought the offense was a little pass-happy tonight, but the run wasn't doing much either. This was the first game of the season where I really wasn't loving the gameplan. Kind of makes me think execution has something to do with it too though. I think most fans like the gameplan a lot more when it seems to be working.

Before the game started, I told my wife that I thought the Bills would end up playing the Cowboys a little differently. I thought they would really try to take away the deep passes and big plays and make Dallas kill them slowly. I was kind of interested to see if Romo and Garrett would have the patience. For most of the game, I wasn't really happy with the results. When it mattered though, the Cowboys really exploited the middle of the field and the shorter routes to start moving the ball. I know most defenses start with the idea of stopping the run, but I wonder if we will see more teams plan to stop Romo and TO first and foremost?

I didn't think the OL played that well tonight. They did do their usual job of wearing the Bills out a little bit by the fourth quarter, but it was a struggle. Of course, the Bills have a particularly nice DE duo.

TO had too many drops. Of course, ESPN spent all their time waiting for a blowup tonight or trying to manufacture a controversy about Brad Johnson picking up his helmet to actually beat the point into the ground though. I don't know whether to be grateful or disappointed. I still think you have to be pleased by TO as a teammate.

Jason Witten was a stud! As Parcells said before the game, "If I have to pick one TE to start a team with, he's the guy I'm taking."

Sam Hurd can play on my team any day. I really appreciate his hard work. His play on the on-sides kick was great. Actually, Tony Curtis should get a ton of credit too. He really went after that football that won the game!

Deon Anderson helped the team in the passing game tonight. He certainly adds a dimension there that Hoyte doesn't. Hoyte is a thumper in the running game though. He was missed there.

Speaking of missing somebody, I missed Terry Glenn more than ever tonight.

How about that Phillips' defense? That group was fantastic! They were put behind the ball a little bit, but they kept on responding. I really admired their ability to stick with it as much as I did the offense's. The tackling wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, but they did the job.

Terence Newman sure made me smile. Anybody who was wondering how healthy that Newman was probably knows after seeing him get that pick and not be able to run like usual. The guy who caught Randy Moss behind had a hard time running down the field. But he did his job in coverage, and he put some pops on people too. Toughness.

Bradie James was huge. I thought he had a great game; very active.

Demarcus Ware is on another level though. Talk about dominating. I didn't even take a look at his numbers; I saw the game. He pressured the QB, stopped the run, and helped Newman get that INT. I really thought of the old joke about how he just needed to sell popcorn to have a full night. That was impressive. It made me start thinking about how many defenders I would rather have...the list isn't very long at all.

I thought Anthony Spencer was pretty good tonight, but I don't remember Greg Ellis?

Jay Ratliff made a play tonight that made me cheer. Ultimately, the play didn't matter at all though. After the Newman pick, when Terence got chased down and fumbled, it was Ratliff who had hustled all of that way down the field to recover the ball. I don't think you'll see that kind of effort or athleticism from many NTs. Says something about his character, in my opinion. I wish the final INT from Romo hadn't followed that up...

Seems like I might be forgetting somebody who stood out....

Oh yeah, Nick Folk ;) I'll try to keep this short by saying that I haven't seen that kind of performance from any kicker in a long time. When you consider the fact that he's a rookie, it's even more amazing. I know people were talking about Kris Brown from yesterday, bot Folk was equally as impressive. He drilled some long kicks tonight that were huge to the outcome. The final kick(s) will be talked about for a while, but that on-sides kick was just as beautiful. He hit that ball perfectly. No question, he was the player of the game.

It was an ugly win, but it's still a win. And it's the single most exciting game in recent memory for me!

Great recap as usual.

Is it just me or does Nick Folk never seem to sneak one inside the upright? It's always dead center. It's uncanny. Makes me wonder that when he finally misses one if it'll be such a horrible miss that it'll be absolute comedic gold. Like 90 degrees directly at the opposing head coach or something. :D

I liked Hatcher's sack as well. He really slammed the QB to the turf.
