I'm sure the Cowboys want home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but with the run game being more important in January at Lambeau, the Cowboys chances might be just as good.

The heart of our offense is Romo, TO and Witten. I'd rather see them operate in Dallas than GB in January.

If the passing game of both teams were minimized due to weather...imagine Greenbay going against our run D.

I spoke to a Packer fan last night when I stopped at Wild Wings for a bite to eat.

He was in his early twenties and was going on and on about how Dallas has never won in Green Bay.

I informed him that the Boys are 0-5 at Lambeau, but that they did win a game in Milwaukee.

He thought I was making it up.

I told him the Pack used to play home games in both locations before the salary cap came along and he looked like a deer in headlights.

I say we just win the game, keep things in our house and smile at Brett Favre's dough nut record at Hole in the Roof.

How could a packers fan not know they played games in milwaukee??

We beat them there in 91. I have that game on tape and disc soon.

There is a poster on here who sent me the whole 91 season on tape to convert to dvd and I have never had the time to just dedicate to that. I am going to do it around christmas and get them back to him and throw in this years season on disc because of the long wait. I feel terrible about it!

Didn't we beat them in GB in either 98 or 99? I remember it because I gave a friend of mine hell because of it.

I was a little surprised, but we are talking about a 20 something living in Myrtle Beach, SC.

He just chose the Packers, he isn't from frozen tundra country.

I'm 34 and work with several people in their early twenties, if I start talking about the pre-internet era they all get this mystified look on their faces.

No internet?

You can remember not having cable TV?

Cell phones were not commonplace?

Gas was how cheap?

All the wins over the Pack just run together in my head.

I was thinking the '99 victory was the 7 field goal game after being told it was Jason Garrett's second start and victory over Green Bay.

Those with crisper memories than Fin responded saying that was the first game we played without any of the Triplets (all injured), Red threw touchdowns to David Lafluer and Rockey Ismail and George Teague iced the game with a pick 6.

We've never won at Lambeau.

Brett Favre even threw at Deion Sanders in that late 90s game up there because he was playing injured with nine toes and/or a bad hammy.

I went back through the season summaries on dc.com and the game I was thinking of was at Texas St.

coming from a city where the weather is beautiful in december and going to that hell hole of a frozen icesickle up there is something i definitely would not want to do. I dont think i would care if our record is 5-0 at lambeau, i still would not want to have to play up there in that weather against someone who is used to it.

I think this team could play in GB and win. With Romo's road record it would not concern me in the least...a part of me (be it ever so small) would actually like to see a cold snowy January game between the Packers and Cowboys...and that will most likely not happen in Dallas. Whatever the outcome of tonights game, I think Dallas makes it to the NFC title game and I don't see us loosing to green bay, whether we play here or there.

Sanders had a TD on an interception runback against Favre in 97. That was the highlight of the game for the Cowboys.

But yeah, Dallas has beaten the Packers twice on the road, both games were in Milwaukee. Dallas leads the all time series between the teams 14-12.

That's funny.

Dallas was 6-10 against Green Bay until the arrival of the greatest quarterback to ever play the game and grace the world with his presence on the field.

Thanks Brett Favre, I'm a fan of yours now.

I was at that game. Cowboys dismantled the Packers. Final score was 20-17 Cowboys but the game wasn't that close. Packers scored 10 points in :08. Packers got a FG just before halftime and then returned the opening kickoff of the 2nd half for a TD.

Ah, the Lindy Infante era. You would bring back those memories. :D

So, were you a bigger Favre fan when the Packers beat the Cowboys 45-17 in 1997 or when the Packers won 41-20 in 2004?

Just asking.
