Cowboys at Patriots. Who wins?

Apparently the pats have yet to beat a top 15 offense this year

They have better personnel on offense as opposed to our defense as well. We've got one guy who can cover Edleman, but he's on the outside. I can also see Watson giving us absolute fits, being that we still can't cover tight ends.

Obviously, it goes without saying, they're coaching staff is incredible..where as ours is mediocre at best.

I just don't see how Dallas can pull this one out, especially in Foxboro. I don't even think it's going to be close..New England by 18, or more.

Anyone who predicts the Cowboys lose by 18 points just doesn't follow this team. The Cowboys have only lost by 18 points one single time in the previous 48 games. How does a Cowboy fan go into this game thinking we are gonna get the doors blown off. That's just pure bitterness is all it is. Anyone who predicts that is doing it purely out of spite, it's not an actual rational prediction.

Huh, interesting. Would you like to tell me what I'm eating for dinner tonight, since you know me better than I know myself?

If you'd like, you could go through my 300 some-odd posts, do some research and come to a much better assumption than the terrible one you've just made.

Dallas has a putrid defense. A putrid, porous pass defense. Said defense has been carved up through the air by much lesser QBs and Coaches than TB12 and Belicheck.

We have one decently good CB, possibly another who has just started getting more playing time. A spotty Safety who has played well at times, yet has a bit of some head scratching moves.

A defensive line that couldn't stop Betty White from rushing for 100+ yards, in a wheelchair. The only success we've had, if I remember correctly, was Saquon?

So no, my skeptical Outlook is niether vindictive nor bitter..it's based off of production, or lack thereof as of lately.

That's where I base my assumptions, validity..where as yours are just baseless.
 
The Pats are short handed at WR and their OL is not what it used to be. The D is good, not great.

On paper, the Cowboys have the talent edge. So, can the best HC in the game take lesser talent and beat a more talented but lesser coached team? Isn't it odd, the Pats win and the legend grows and if the Cowboys win, they beat a wounded Pats team and the talk of an exit for their HC continues. If the Pats win, it's coaching and if the Cowboys win, it's talent.

That 6 point spread was before they knew Sanu was out.
 
Has Garrett ever really out-coached someone? I don't think he has.

In my opinion the Pats have to implode for us to win. So I think the Patriots win at home.

Dont think matters about Stats when you got a decent Pat team and Brady.....Belicek along with Brady figure out how to best play other team and morph to do it....we are extra in touble cause .."we are who we are" and stubbornly just keep doing many things even if they dont work.....but maybe our players hudldled together to "rise up" to the challenge and put a hurt on Pats?...our defense has to come together and have great scheme against Pats and shut Brady down..
we wil lose if its just "bend but dont break"...Brady loves to carve up those defenses....we cant dig a hole for ourselves either...like Eagles game we got up 14-0 and never looked back..lets do it at Gillette..Go-Cowboys

Wow with how bad you make us sound I have no idea how we are 7th in total yards per game allowed. 7th in points allowed. With no DB's on the entire team and that "porous terrible passing D" we are 7th in passing yards allowed. Flip to the offensive side of the ball, #1 in ypg #4 in scoring. So let me get this straight.

We have allowed 2 QB's to throw more then 300 yards on us this season. We've allowed 2 RB's to run for more then 100 yards on us. We don't allow the other team to score very much, We score the 4th most in the entire league. Soooo add all that up. Cowboys lose by 20...got it....like I said before, you're prediction is purely emotional.

I'm not scared of the damn patriots.


Meanwhile I'll get my bowl ready to eat my own words. Because the cowboys have a knack for playing like a division 2 team any given week.
 
If the Cowboys play the Patriots, they win. If the Cowboys play the Cowboys, they lose. They can beat themselves better than any team in the league.

The one with the fewest turnovers wins this game.

Ah, I see that you've calmed down just a smidge. Good, no need in getting all hot and heavy over someone else's opinions.

See, I love stats, but there lies a point in where you cannot rely solely on stats. Why you ask? Yes, Dallas has a paper tiger defense. Yes, the stats look pretty..but what you failed to mention is the offense said defense has faced at the time. Let's see.. we've got a 2 time Super Bowl winning QB who has been benched. A wishy-washy Sickly QB with a 6th sense..a back up that got pulled off the bench to replace a back up, then got benched again..a kid who was fresh out of college, not too long ago..

Anyway..without me doing some digging and finding out what bottom-of-the-barrel rankings these offenses were statistically when they sliced through our Defense..I have no "solid ground" to give you currently.

Which, and full offense meant here, not that you seem the type to care being that you came out of the gate swinging with absurd accusations.

I'll just keep my opinions to myself, being that they're seemingly not wanted around here :rolleyes:
 
If Dallas gets off to a fast start, attacks the defense, stretching the field and scores touchdowns instead of playing conservatively settling for fieldgoals as Garrett's team usually do on the road, then Dallas has a chance of winning the game, It's just that the Patriots are tough team to beat at home that I'm leaning towards the Patriots 27- 21
