Looks like the league doesn't want KC opening the season with a loss.

I'd prefer to face them later in the season to give all our changes some time to settle in. The Eagles have some changes of their own, but they should be a more ready team than us.

Boo! Based on last season, Dallas doesn't deserve this game.

Chiefs/Eagles SB rematch should be the opener. If either team loses it does truly affect their seasons. Non-conference, non-divisional loss early in the season still allows the loser to be a marquee team for the 2025 season. That would make the League happy.

Plus, these teams are the best teams and it would be a good game.
