http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/11/14/nfl-sees-strong-tv-ratings-rebound-on-sunday/

FOX announced that the 14.2 overnight rating average for its full Sunday of NFL action was the highest-rated Sunday doubleheader of this season, and the Cowboys-Steelers game, with a 17.8 rating, was the highest-rated individual game of the season. That one Sunday was so big for FOX that it will cut its ratings decline from last year in half.

Just wait, I'll bet this team tops that before long....

Damn it's good t be back.

That's because nobody gives a **** for bottom dwellers that have found recent success. I'm so sick of being mediocre for the past 21 years while the likes of the Bucs and Saints have won Super Bowls. When push comes to shove the old school rivalries will always beat out the Seahawks and whoever they are playing.

A woman I truly despise at work is a rabid Squelers fan - unfortunately I have this week off from work, so I couldn't see her to rub it in. I imagine with 43 seconds left in the game she was high as a kite. Too bad it didn't end so well... HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Revenge is sweet!

Even when cowboys are average we get the ratings, which is a true indicator we are Americas team. Patriots ever become average I doubt anyone would watch.

How many million viewers is that? It looks like this might be a higher rating than any regular season game last year too.

Cowboys games are usually entertaining and Sunday's was a classic. Nothing will help the NFL ratings more than the Cowboys continuing their excellent play. A deep playoff run would be huge for the league.

Guess now that the election's over more people will be tuning in.

It also helps to have better matchups than the Browns at Jags lol

Yep. Cynicism will start to die down now. Too many people frustrated and couldn't enjoy some good ol' football.

Come playoff time, everyone will be tuning in.

Yes, lol. Absolutely. And it's always been like this. The Cowboys are the only sure thing when it comes to tv ratings, which is one of the reasons they get so much exposure.

The top 3 highest rated regular season games in 2015 involved the 4-12 Cowboys.

still cant believe patriots have a larger following on twitter. guess theyre bandwagon will drop considerably once tom retires. yet we have the same following basically (600,000 less) w not even close to the same success the past 20 years...
