Collins was better at G. He showed flashes of dominance. IMO, he's out of position at tackle. I don't think Connor Williams is an NFL starter.

One thing is for sure, they need to extend, trade, or release La El b/c he's not worth the 8.5 million dollar cap hit.

If we think he's overpriced, why would another team pay a pick to take over an overpriced contract?

Collins is a little overpriced, but I think we keep him to recoup a comp pick when we let him go next year. We don't extend. Conceivable we trade, but only if Williams looks like a solid starter at RT.

I'm flipping Collins and Conner Williams and seeing what happens in 2019. It will allow Collins to prove that he deserves another contract which I don't think he has or will show at right tackle and let's me know if Williams can get the job done there, after struggling with physicality inside.

And I'd try to bring Fleming back on a reasonable contract and I'd use one of my mid-round picks on an offensive tackle as well. This team has guards, but question marks at both tackle spots.

We move on from Collins in 2020 and cash out a comp pick.
Williams to swing T in preparation and evaluation.

We've got a lot of guys to compete for LG. I've always seen LG as our veteran churn spot.

I move up in the second. Tight end TJ Hock.....watever or the Simmons DT.

Pretty sure he still goes in the first or high second. He was ranked super high before he got injured, and he hurt it early in the process. He may be back this season sometime.

We just need to hope that our 2nd rounder ends up being an incredible steal,, if this fan base needs to feel better about sitting out this years 1st round.
Im more interested in hearing about who might be there with our first pic, rather than all the crying baby talk about not having a 1st.

No. I doubt there will be a player with a 1st round grade left unless they have huge injury or personal concerns.
