Dez certainly had a big play, nice route and all, and he fair caught the ball for six. The rest of his day consisted of 5 catches for 21 yards. That's a 4 yard per reception avg if my math is right.

Attaboy Dez!

Claiborne over Murray?! That list is funny especially with Romo getting the game ball!

Boatright sighting? Anxious to see what he brings next summer if he doesn't make the 53 this year.

Amusingly enough, your post shows up as blank to me for whatever reason.

Yes, the Cowboys media guys said that Boatright is ahead of Michael Sam on the Practice Squad. They said if there was a call-up at DE it would be Boatright, not Sam.

Claiborne didn't start against the Rams. He "lost" his starting job last week, not this week.

So he stormed off in a fit of rage because his role is going to be the same going forward? C'mon, use some common sense here.

OK, I never said anything about starting.
You replied to a post where I simply stated that he did not start against the Rams.

I never said that nothing else happened this week. But the fact is that he did not start last week.

Maybe he did not find out about not startng until game time and lost his cool on Monday/Tuesday when he had time to confront the coaches about it.

He did play some in the base defense later in the Rams game. Maybe he found out that he will play zero snaps in the base against the Saints.

Maybe he was demoted to 4th string this week.

Maybe something else...

The bottom line is that he did not start against the Rams, yet the media is reporting that he lost his starting job AFTER the Rams game.

Again, I never said anything about him starting. He was obviously demoted, hence storming out of practice going AWOL.

Then what was he mad at?

OK, it's Saturday and I wanted to see if anybody would watch the game footage and figure out this answer with the facts and not just espouse opinions.

Scandrick did start but then he and Claiborne alternated in the snaps where there were only 2 CBs on the field.

It seems obvious that Claiborne was told that they won't be alternating in the base against the Saints. Stephen Jones did say on the radio that Claiborne is still above Moore as the 3rd CB.

On a side note, they did play a few snaps in the dime defense against 3 WRs and a TE in the Rams game. This had the top 4 CBs on the field with Moore as the 4th.
