Mind you Kupp was considered one of the best receivers in the league in his prime. His last 3 years he’s played 12 games, 12 games and then 9 games…and he’s about to be 32. Part of him being washed is he is always hurt.

Of course he's not what he was, but if he were in his prime, he wouldn't be available... or he'd cost too much for us to be interested.

I mean, do people expect Tee Higgins? We all know that isn't happening. Anyone we get is going to have limitations. But we need someone.

Kupp is a savvy route runner who's going to draw attention. What I think would be beneficial is his blocking ability and his understanding of playing in a very versatile run scheme with the Rams. Sure, he's lost a step, but he wouldn't be needed to stretch the field...just be a hardnosed possession type that moves the chains. But his timing and understanding how to set up defenses off of play action would be of great value, especially in mentoring the young WR's.

I will be shocked if it happens. And I don’t think Cooper Kupp is what this team needs at WR. I respect the guy a lot but a declining skills receiver without speed is not what this team needs IMO.

This team needs a reliable number 2 receiver with speed. Kupp is a great route runner but we need someone who can be a consistent number with the ability to take the top off the defense. Cooks was supposed to be that guy but seemed to disappear for long stretches.

I expect a guy to be available and guys don’t get healthier AS they get older. For the right price he’s worth it but it’s important to understand that player you’d be getting as opposed to the name. Just know you go after that out of guy it’s because they think Tolbert or Mingo will be better than they probably will be. They don’t want a legit 2 they like their guys.
