Since Staubach was not a first round pick, and neither was Wright, you have two spots in the top 10. Demarcus Ware should be one of them.

Bobby Carpenter has to be up high on the worst list assuming 1 was worse than 10. Carpenter should be #2 or #3 but no lower than 5. LaFluer, "The Flower", was worse than Carver, Brooks and Noonan. Maybe it should be

Hard to argue against Ware as the best pick since 2000.

Dez had 3 great years but not enough to crack the top 5. If Zeke can regain his form, he'll overtake Newman on the list.

Best First Round picks..... I'm discounting top overall picks b/c its easier to make those choices.

1. Bob Lilly - not sure how 12 teams passed on him. HOF
2. Calvin Hill - 24th overall pick. Jump started 70's dynasty
3. Emmitt Smith - 16th overall HOF
4. Michael Irvin - 11th overall. HOF
5. Randy White - 2 overall HOFer
6. Troy Aikman- 1st overall and HOFer
7. Tony Dorset - 2nd overall and HOFer
8. Demarcus Ware - 11th overall and future HOFer
9. Zach Martin - 16th overall and future HOFer
10. John Niland - 5th overall and a HOF snub

Worst - I gave credence to potential unrealized due to injury. I left Sherard out b/c the guy kept breaking his leg but looked like he would have been good.

1. Shante Carver - flop signaled the end of the dynasty
2. Mo Claiborne - 2 first rounders - zero pro bowls
3. Bobby Carpenter - might have turned out better has Parcels stuck around
4. David Lefluer - another miss and nail in the coffin of the 90's dynasty
5 Taco Charlton. worthless pos
6. Tody Smith - ?
7. Charley Young ?
8. Kevin Brooks - Clashed with Jimmy Johnson and was never heard from again
9 Danny Noonan - Signaled the end of the Landry era
10. Bill Thomas - Not sure he even played
