Giants were frauds like I told everyone this year. They were smoke and mirrors and if it wasn't for there D they are a .500 team and looking from outside the playoffs. You can't win without an offense. We will beat GB by 14, Rogers can't play defense for them and we will give up yardage but he won't be able to hang more than 24 points against us. We can hang 30 plus on their D.
Interesting prediction . If we are going to score 30 points and win by 14 your basically saying our defense is going to hold Rodgers to 16 points. Incredible!!

First off; I think if Dallas plays well, they can beat anyone.

But some would say we match up better with Green Bay than New York.
Two of Dak's three worst games of the season were vs the Giants in Cowboy loses.
Dallas destroyed Green Bay and Zeke ran wild on them--even if they are better now than then.

I don't really know who would've been tougher, but it is debatable for some.

Don't really see GB as our biggest test. The Giants were going to be a bigger test, based on the regular season losses when we actually played them. Of the high powered offenses, I think ATL is better than GB and has been for most of the year.

Getting hot at the right time matters a lot, but it doesn't mean everything. Of their winning streak, until yesterday only that home walloping of SEA really impressed me a lot. They did look good in the 2nd half yesterday, though.

Don't get the GB hype. Atlanta is just as good on offense, or better

If we are fortunate enough to beat Green Bay, and if Atlanta beats Seattle, the Packer game would serve as a nice precursor to facing the Falcons. Very similar teams.

The truth is they're all huge tests. It's why it's tough to get to, much less win, the Super Bowl.

But make no mistake. We're no cupcake for Green Bay, either.

We may not win, but I can guarantee we will play hard until the clock runs out. And I have no fear of Dak losing his composure - he is like no other. He's a rookie in name only. GB does NOT want to play us as much as we don't want to play them. I am curious who the Seattle fans are hoping wins our game - who they would rather face. I'm guessing the Falcons will be rooting for GB to knock off the 1 seed... Should be an epic game and I predict we win 26-22...

Good question but Im assuming Seattle fans will be rooting for Green Bay so they will be hosting the championship game if they beat Atlanta.

I'm thinking they'd like their chances at home more against the Packers where they've won 10 consecutive playoff games .

When did Falcons become relevant, we could have beaten them last year. I have never been scared of the Falcons since the days of Vick.

Is it a test when teams play the Cowboys? Especially a team we've proven we can beat in their own backyard? That was weeks ago, but the Cowboys have improved on both sides of the ball since then. Have a healthy respect for your opponent but, truth be told, this is even more of a test for the Packers
The Packers are without Lambeau and the cold weather.

Thats worth 7 pts right there for us.

On a fast track..no wind and 100,000 crazed fans..

this sets up as the best possible scenario.

I take Dallas 32-21.

CMike is not a bad RB, he's just no Zeke. The Cowboys do have the advantage when the Packers run the ball so technically you are right, they are for the most part, one dimensional but don't underestimate that dimension. Aaron Rodgers is a bad man... just saying.

When CMike is in they almost always run since he's new and doesn't know all of the blitz coverage's. They don't trust him in the passing game. If Monty is healthy, thats good news for them. Either way, I don't fear their running game. They will go all out to stop ours, Dak must make them pay!

Blah blah blah..that's what everyone said about the Giants..

Oh the Giants are a different story come playoff time..Eli is a beast in the playoffs..blah blah blah

The Packers literally have one player that we have to just slow down enough...this was definitely the best option for the Dallas Cowboys..I said it all week and I stand by it...

Cowboys and their fans should be excited they drew the Packers..we rolled them in GB and this game won't be all that much different

I hope you're right. I think it will be close game. We just can't give Rodgers time.

We're also allowed to show confidence and swagger. Fans can do whatever they want. It has no bearing on the outcome. So you might as well be positive.
I respectively disagree. Somewhat.

There is not doubt fans at the stadium do have some impact on the teams playing. I think we all agree on that. I also think fans in general have, at least, a small impact on the "mood" or confidence of the team. Whether it's through social media or talk radio I think the team picks up on some of the positive or negative energy.
The sports media in general picks up on some of that as well and they report and debate based somewhat on that. Some radio shows in particaular are mostly about fan opinion. Some players may be affected by this. Even if it is on a subconscious level.

Just ran into a season ticket holder and asked if he was going Sunday...said nope sold them...I don't get it giving packer fans a chance for this type of game makes no sense to me.

Precisely. It's going to be a tough game, probably the toughest game of the year. Anyone in the playoffs will be an excellent team. There are no Clevelands from here on out.

Matt Ryan has a 1-4 playoff record while Green Bay has Aaron Rodgers who has a playoff record of 9-6. Rodgers is red hot, has a SB ring, multiple league MVP awards, a SB MVP award and is a first ballot lock for the HOF. It's pretty easy to get the GB hype with the Packes riding a 7 game winning streak and Aaron Rodgers about as hot as he's ever been entering the playoffs.

No bigger test for the Cowboys than having to face the last team that knocked them out of the playoffs. No bigger test than having to face arguably the hottest QB in the league entering the playoffs who's thrown 12 TD's the past 3 games and is a first ballot lock for the HOF. That's a huge test for a team that has the 26th ranked pass defense. Rodgers just got through shredding a Giants defense for 38 points in single digit temps that we were only able to score 29 points on in 2 games this season.

With Nelson probably out that gives us a little hope but not sure we're going to be able to stay with the Packers in this game unless we can control the ball, score with almost every opportunity we have and hope we can make a few critical stops in the 4th quarter. Pressuring Rodgers won't be enough we're going to have to get him on the ground. He's just too good moving around extending plays you have to sack him. I could see the Packers putting up 35+ in this game so we can't afford to miss a beat offensively or Green Bay will win by two scores or more.

There's not a defense in the league that can defend the Aaron Rodgers the Giants saw on Sunday and if that's Aaron Rodgers who shows up against us we're not going to win. If he can put 38 points on a Giants defense that was playing very well through 3 quarters he could very easily do that to us and then some. Our D is going to have to really step up and our offense is going to have to be great not missing a single tick because we're going to need to score a lot of points to win this game. The 30 we scored against them earlier in the season might not be enough to win on Sunday.

Agreed, Ryan was just as good as Rodgers or better during Rodgers hot streak. Ryan was just hot all season long.

I think Atlanta is definitely a bigger test for the Cowboys even if we get past GB. They have a better defense than GB and a greatest show on turf offense, heh.

If Cowboys can get past the Packers, then they make the Super Bowl . I think they can beat any one once there but may struggle if they face KC.

The packers are the scariest team in my opinion. The reason is because of the hype Rodgers is getting.

I've been reading comments on people arguing who the greatest is between Rodgers and Brady.

The NFL will b licking its chops for that potential match up, BRADY VS RODGERS.

Rodgers and Brady are not getting any younger so that match up should happen soon. DAK and the boys are young so the NFL can afford to leave them brewing.

Just hope the refs don't screw the Cowboys over.

When it comes to running game, they can't keep up with ours. So the question is, can we keep up with their aerial attack? Their running game is nothing to be feared. This game will boil down to minimizing Aaron Rodger's pass game, time of possession needs to be hugely in our favor to get it done. Dak/Zeke and the slow matriculation down the field each possession will be critical. Give AR as little time as possible to counter our every scoring drive. That means we need to win the coin toss and get the ball first.
