As happy as I was from a fans perspective, it was so much sweeter thinking of all the eagle fan haters I knew who were watching.
Unless you live here, you really can't understand the level or intensity of hate for the Cowboys.
In addition to the irrational hate the average eagle fan had for the Cowboys, they had also developed a certain amount of unjustified superiority.
Watching the Cowboys make it back to the top was as painful a sporting experience as any eagle fan could deal with.

Is Aikman in his prime not one of the top 3 QB's of all time? I think so. A thing of beauty to watch his accuracy and timing.

You and me both. That ball had crossed the plane of the goal line when it was knocked out and it would have counted as a TD had that been a 49er or Pittsburg player...blindzebra;3411498 said:Still say the final was 59-10...we got hosed twice.![]()
There were a lot of teams that did that. Helluva TE.ghst187;3411458 said:The Bills made Jay Novacek look uncoverable...lol
98 and 44. I can't remember who the players honored were though. They might not have been Cowboys players. It has been so long ago.5Stars;3411765 said:Will someone remind me what those two black numbers on the Cowboys helmets were there for? It must have been someone that passed away...but I cannot remember who they were. Hell, I can't even remember the numbers NOW.
