But this team seems to never put it together in big games. We keep hoping that will change but they failed miserably in the first big game of this year. Hopefully they can show up and get a nice win against Philly.

This team has been consistent at bullying inferior competition.
It’s very strange. They have it though. We’ve seen they can perform. Teams don’t blow out 4 of 7 teams by accident. They just have to prove it. It starts next week all over again.

It's funny how everyone still sweeps that under the rug. We have the most convincing win against the Jets of anyone. The same Jets that beat the Bills, beat Philly, and narrowly lost to the Jets.
YEah its completely left out. People commend the Jets for what they do against quarterbacks but McCarthy and Dak looked damn good against them.

It does keep them within striking distance of the Eagles.... a loss would have them two games back on the loss column with a game coming up against them. So it is a big W due to the time it comes. If Dallas beats them Sunday, they are in first place.
DAL (5-2) @ PHI (7-1). If the Cowboys win next weekend, they'll still trail the Eagles (who haven't had a bye week yet) by half a game.

Blowouts are fun but they mean nothing when you get your arse handed to you by a team you’re supposed to be on the same level as.
This is a site for fans. Try being a fan, rather than a critic! Your assessments are highly asinine, to say the least.

I enjoyed the win very much. Several blowouts in the Cowboys’ favor this season. Get a sizable lead and punish the opponent that becomes one dimensional with the pass rush/pressure.

We’ll take it. Will see how repeatable that style of win is throughout the rest of the season. Bigger test next week, but good position to be in record wise. The team seems to have a good advantage when at home. Probably very helpful to them to win the division this time (even more than other years).
Formula to beat below .500 teams only.

The problems start and end when we don't play from the start with a lead.
Esp if we have to play from behind score wise..............

Yesterday reminded me of last year's Falcons game lets hope it continues against the Eagles.

The rams played both SF and Philly to the wire. It just shows when we put it together we’re tough to beat. Just have to be consistent
We just can’t beat ourselves. If we do that we are tough to beat.

Punish the opponent. We are not used to that until this group came around.

We’ve been dominating when we get a good lead but not good when we get down by two scores. Our offense doesn’t seem to function very well when we’re having to play comeback. We start getting behind the chains and it can get ugly. We better not fall behind next week.
A lot of teams aren't good at coming from behind.

Blowouts are awesome but it would be nice to get a couple against good teams also, sorta like how the Bengals blew out the 9ers today.
9ers are not good. they have lost 3 in a row scoring 17 each time. the seahawks are first in their division and i don't consider them that good either.

Well, the refs did gift us a couple early. Which i'd gladly take for a change.
That said the way the game began. I was looking for a bridge to jump off of.
I'm sure we still would have won without the calls in our favor, but I don't think it would have been the blow out It ended up becoming.

I purposely took the Cowboys and bet a friend of mine and gave him 9 points. He took it eagerly. The Cowboys either blow teams out, or get beat outright. I never once thought this game would come down to the 9 points. Last week was an anomaly.

It's weird the defense only feeds with a lead. Maybe it's partly the defense being called? Idk

If we can move the ball in the pass game like we did yesterday, the Def may feast from behind if they see us lighting up the board

It’s hard for the defense to feast when we’re behind because teams are usually running the ball which decreases the opportunity for takeaways. In most of the games we’re winning in blowouts we have either defensive or special team scores.

That’s mainly due to not having an elite QB. This is why they traded so much to move up for Trey Lance, hoping he would be a special QB. When you’re playing from behind in the fourth quarter, it comes down to your QB having to make plays. The 49ers lost the Super Bowl a few years ago because Jimmy G couldn’t get it done in the fourth quarter and Mahomes did.

They sure were damn good when we played them and I'm pretty sure most of us would have been thrilled to beat them like the Bengals just did
