I see both the Escobar and Sammy Davis Jr references. Although Irving is probly a foot taller and weighs twice as much. Mr. Bojangles by Sammy Davis Jr is one of my favorite songs ever! I thought JG's tie was okay...knot is good but length is a bit off.

The length makes it look like someone wearing a clip on tie that is too short for their height.

Yeah, I understood what you meant (and the picture is hilarious). But that guy's tie looks like a clip-on mostly because it looks like a super-cheap polyester piece of junk. JG's looks like a nice tie.

Looking at it again, Garrett almost committed the even worse sin of having the back of the tie hanging below the front. For some reason, he tied that thing as short as he possibly could.
