Man I don't know about you guys but I'm really getting sick of this show. I tried to watch today during my lunch and it's the same BS from these clowns win or lose. Everything has to steer to contract talk and how we're not going to afford anybody and how so-and-so has an ego and scandrick is a **** yadayadayada. They have issues. A bunch of scorned losers who feel the need to tell us every time a player doesn't greet them with a smile and handshake at their locker. The brain dead host they have now was claiming Demarco's ego would prevent him from resigning here b/c he would want top dollar. As if knowing your worth and wanting to take care of yourself financially is a sin. They make so many smarky remarks about the players..how Dez talks, Scandrick's attitude, Demarco's attitude, everytime Rolando doesn't talk to them we have to hear them whine about it. It's people like them why the players can't stand the media anymore. I really dislike this show now.

I can't watch those shows. I'll sometime read a recap, but I just can tolerate actually listening to those clowns.

i guess we differ then b/c this is the only one of the shows i can stand to listen to right now.

i try to choke down listening to Talkin Cowboys and at least they have Mickey, Bryan, & Sydney to keep it bearable at times but Cahill has ruined that show and with all the "game drafts" and all those stupid segments it's turned into what you'd expect to hear on a college campus radio show.

all in all the whole multimedia department is no longer what it was but for me personally the Break is better than Talkin right now.

Yep. Totally agree. I think since Steve Dennis got on it has gone down hill.

And I get so tired of hearing Kelsey giggling.

one thing i have learned. when it comes to contracts you get much better info here from guys like xwalker than anyone in the media. most media guys have no clue how the cap or contracts even work

Yeah I get what you're saying about Cahill but at least on TC they don't obsess over contract talk, something that is 5-6 months down the line. Yes we get it, some of these players will have to be let go. Does this have to be brought up now when we're 4-1? That show is really lacking right now.

He really does love the sound of his own voice, somtimes he'll add something but the rest is pretty lean and consisting of repeated phrases. Eatman seems to have perked up since he took the reins.

yeah i hear you on that too....i think bottomline is they have all severely declined from where they were a few seasons ago

Yeah same here, I never came away with any useful info from them. That you couldn't read in a recap without all the other crap.

I come away with useful information. They stated that the rumors surrounding the Cowboys contracts were true but it only means that the team is trying to negotiate with them. I got that in the first 15 minutes during their takeaways from the game. It says that the team is putting the highest priority on signing those two guys as demonstrated by action. If I got nothing else it was worth the listen.

I don't know why people are complaining about the Cowboys contract talk. It's a daily occurrence around here. Even if you don't like it I don't see how one can ignore that others are interested.

The show is more romantic than empirical so I prefer BB and co for their approach. Their basis for Bailey's success is that they are confident in him enough that they don't feel the need to record his kicks during TC. Babe Laughenburg is much the same approach. It's not my preferred approach but I know there are a ton of people that think like that out there.

I have also watched Eatman be one of the worst sexist pigs that I have ever seen. Watching him deal with Kelsey being the shows host and having to take directions from her is cringeworthy. He basically treats like woman like I treat people that repeatedly say stupid things and I have watched him go back and forth with female coworkers for years at this point. I give Lindsay Charles a mulligan tbh having to try and wrestle with that. I think it is a credit to her professionalism that she has not made more of an issue of it like past female members of the cast have.

That being said, someone in the organization likes him because he has inside information that speaks to a high level of access much like Spagnola. He called the 2011 draft two weeks before it happened. Smith Carter Murray out of seemingly nowhere.

Dennis can be an emotional blowhard but he does pay attention. Some of his rants mirror a lot of people around here specifically frustration with Romo. I know for a fact that people want that kind of commentary. even if it does nothing for me. He does go and talk with difficult to approach players like Scandrick and McClain and he does shed meaningful insight. He was out in front of the McClain issue two months ago and now everyone else is catching up. That is meaningful to me. Next time either of those two say anything that cuts against the grain it is worthy of taking notice.

Kavner was a wellspring of information and seemed diligent and attentive. He clearly works at being well informed and shares that. He will be missed.

It's not my favorite show but I don't think it is without merit. I'm going to go watch the last 45 mins of the show now.

Talkin' Cowboys has always been better in my experience. Spags and Broaddus provide actual information and informative opinions.

I like hearing Broaddus and what his thoughts and analysis are about the team but I can't stand Mickey.
