Really amazing how much freedom offensive coordinator Scott Linehan and head coach Jason Garrett are giving Prescott at the line of scrimmage. Think he called seven audibles against Washington, which is about average for a veteran quarterback. Also like that he’s running a bit more, posting a career-high 39 yards and his fifth scoring dash in the win over the Commanders, which ties Don Meredith for the most in a season by a Dallas quarterback. Prescott doesn’t run as much as a lot of folks think, though. There have been five games this season when he ran for six or fewer yards.
This is way, way, way off in another galaxy, but it will be interesting to see how the offense is tweaked, altered in the offseason, to make it more Prescott-friendly. Remember, this is an offense that has been schemed and structured for Romo. It’s not like Linehan and Garrett changed the offensive foundation in the fourth week of the preseason, especially since everyone in the world figured Romo would be returning under center.
A lot of really good stuff in there but these 2 points are my favorites.

Watch, the rating for this Thursday night game will set the record. It's not that people don't want to watch football on Thursday night, but the teams playing are usually boring.

Dallas already has 19 rushing touchdowns in 11 games.

The Cowboys had 16 rushing TDs in the 2014 regular season.

It should also be a better game since both teams will have a full week of preparation compared to just 4 days.

That is the convenient excuse used by the mediot mouthpieces of the NFL. I don't believe it makes that much difference.

3 years since a road loss with either romo or dak at the helm. That's insane

I believe 7 days vs 4 days is everything. Don't be so gullible. It takes a lot to play an NFL game. Let me count the ways...
Anyone who has played football before, or heck just about any major sport knows that body rest is as important for physical and mental recovery as it is to practice regularly. Even one day rest makes a huge difference.
